They are quite amazing, I must say. Can you explain the gameplay of KZ? I didn't get it when I played....

i've never played a kz game myself, but as kittens pointed out, its pretty much a halo/gow-esque kind of fps. with cod and halo dominating the market, other fps' pretty much walk in their shadow and dont get noticed all that much. hopefully people will be drawn in by the 3d.

Very true. It's probably one of those games that you have to know EVERYTHING about it, like UFC Undisputed. I prefer button-masher fighting games.

im a huge fighting game enthusiast myself...soul calibur 4, super street fighter 4, tekken 6, marvel vs capcom 2, blazblue...all great fighters.

I still, from the vantage point of never having anything to do with it, think it's terrible.  And all the three-dee stinks.

you're entitled to that opinion. but you're in a camp with very few other people. as has been proven with the success of 3d movies, true 3d is all the rage now (it would truly sadden me if you havent seen avatar in 3d yet...stunning).

Which is all well and good, if you like bland fps action (I don't), but that doesn't make the console "better".

3d versus non-3d...hmm, yeah, thats a tough call there...

false. please direct me to any pc videogames that were built from the ground up in 3d. you cant. zero. zilch. nvidia geforce 3d looks like a poor excuse for 3d. it more than likely relies on headtracking, which is what the new nintendo 3ds will be using...which isnt true 3d.

pc does not have true 3d.

I would hazard a guess that most of the research come from us.

if you want to pass off poop-shine as 3d, be my guest. when it comes to movie-quality 3d that can be played on a 3dtv, ps3 will be the first, thank you.

bland is subjective. bland is irrelevant to the discussion. this entire discussion has been about true 3d (and lets clarify, when i say true 3d, i mean the best the industry can push out currently, which is the kind that is viewed on 3dtv's), not whether you favor a color scheme or not.

Look at your hand.  It has three dimensions.  Look at your screen.  No matter how images may appear to be 3D, it is not truly three-dimensional.

As to subjective, your argument that an entire gaming platform is better due to it having a certain type of graphics capability is entirely subjective.

Just finished playing an hour of Alien Swarm (Kinda like Space Hulk), for free.  Thank you Steam!

Point 1.  You used the words "Real 3D".  I can either read your mind (which I can't), or take your words literally.  I won't accept responsibility for your inability to communicate.

Point 2.  You have very much to learn.  Do some actual research before using a term like "straw man", so you won't look like as much of an idiot when you shoot your mouth off.

resorting to calling people idiots as a last-ditch effort makes you look even less intelligent than you're trying.

       Subpoint A.  This is not an example of a "Straw Man" argument.  You can clearly tell by my use of the word "if".  It was a hypothetical situation, rather than postulating you said something you didn't.

The straw man fallacy occurs in the following pattern of argument:

1.Person A has position X.
2.Person B disregards certain key points of X and instead presents the superficially-similar position Y.
