flickr user infinitecontinues, who doubles as an artist at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, felt inspired after viewing a series of movie posters for minimalists and thus found the motivation to create a similar series, this one focused on video games. in his own words, “This is an exploration of how a few key shapes from well-loved characters are instantly recognisable even when reduced to these simple forms.” out of the 14 total, how many of these characters born in the video game universe can you readily identify?

note: these would make great iphone wallpapers! :D

I agree, that this is missing too many essential characters.

Mario or even Pac-Man.  Come on.

This is what a Ghost sees just before getting eaten. His mouth is yellow.

Apparently it's less important to have Link or Sonic or Daxter than half the Street Fighter cast.

Oh, is that who I didn't recognize...
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
