More than likely it took months. My sister does cross-stitch, and smaller projects than that can take her half a year (though she doesn't exactly work on them constantly as she has a full-time job and a social life :P).

well, its 34 x 28 centimeters...so...whatever that makes it. :)

well, world 2 is 59 x 18 cm, and took just under 9 months, so i imagine world 1 is similiar in time.

That makes me wanna learn to cross stitch so I can do something simular to it...sweet. Make a redemption card out of one XD I could make a 3-liner out of it lolz

It's cool to make these out of old Nintento games because they're so pixely, which makes the final product look exactly like the game.

speaking of which, when I made my hamachi thread the p/w was pringles and then somebody came to me and told me that that was the only chip that isn't sold in a bag. I was like dang....he's right! had me flabbergasted
