i did...? i dont remember calling anyone out in particular here on the boards as psp haters, nor lacking personal experience with the device.

I see.  So the source of the misunderstanding here was that you were not talking about haters in response to the people immediately above you who had made remarks that could be considered critical; it's that you were making some other statement completely unrelated to anyone in the thread or anything they had said.  I guess, then, I owe you an apology for not realizing you were taking the thread off on a random tangent.

its a random tangent because a) we're talking about psp's in the first place and b) some people are hating on psp's and c) its completely random to make at most a general statement regarding people that hate on the psp? oooook, if you say so. my sincere apologies for going down a complete rabbit trail.

do you think, maybe, you're taking this a wee bit too seriously? if i may,

What people?  I've done you the courtesy of excluding everyone involved with the thread, so who's left?

You ask questions about my statement, I explain.  It's been a pretty simple formula thus far.

oiy. anyways.

it has been in my personal experience that most of those who hate on the psp have not tried out the system themselves.

DISCLAIMER: take this with a grain of salt. please do not take this personal. please do not take this as a personal attack. please do not engage in trivial back-and-forths regarding hidden meanings, 'feelings', or kuddly kats. if such a statement does not apply to you, please for the sake of everyones sanity and getting back to the TC's original post, PLEASE disregard and move on.

Well, if your recommendation is that we ignore your posts and talk about what everyone else is talking about, that seems perfectly reasonable to me and I am happy to do so.

Well, so far you've criticized me for questioning what you've said, for apologizing for the misunderstanding and now for agreeing to your solution to move forward.  You're not really leaving a lot of options for a workable solution.

While I am not really a fan of the Go for various reasons, that's not really what's important here I guess. A game I haven't really had the chance to play yet but that I have heard is good is Silver Star Harmony (if you like rpg's). I own the game, but I just have not got around to playing it yet. Another fantastic game is one called Jeanne D'Arc, if you like strategy rpgs. If you do like that kind of game, then Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions would also be a good one to try out (though I'm not sure if that one is available through the PSN). If you do not own a ps3, then the psp version of fat princess might be a fun one to try out. I have never played the psp version, but the ps3 version is a lot of fun and I've heard that it plays pretty much the same. Another sort of strategy rpg/shooter/awesomeness game would be Valkyria Chronicles 2. Again, this one is not a game I have actually played but I played the the first one on ps3 and it was a lot of fun. After looking at reviews this game looks to play about the same and has a lot of depth to it.

I really do not play my psp as much anymore but those are the games I can think of at the top of my head that are worth looking into.

FWIW, your apology seemed sarcastic and very negative towards MKC. He genuinely tried to put the argument away, just say agreed and move on.

He also said we're not supposed to look for hidden meanings and question each other's motives.  Is that supposed to apply only to him and not to me?

He also said disregard and move on. Which you seemingly did not do.

You said I should agree and move on.  Those are the two exact things I did in my post.  And here's the two of you, not moving on.

PLEASE disregard and move on.
This is where he said it.

This is where you sarcastically apologized.
juvenile.
This is where MKC got a little frustrated because even when he tries to end an argument, you just fan the flames.
Well, so far you've criticized me for questioning what you've said, for apologizing for the misunderstanding and now for agreeing to your solution to move forward.  You're not really leaving a lot of options for a workable solution.
This is where you played the "I'm innocent" card, and put the blame on him, when you're the one who kept it going.

This is where I pointed out that it didn't seem like you were really trying to end the argument.
He also said we're not supposed to look for hidden meanings and question each other's motives.  Is that supposed to apply only to him and not to me?
This is where you basically admitted that you weren't going to move on yet, regardless of the fact that he said disregard.

This is where you tried to claim that you actually were trying to move on, when you've already admitted (although not blatantly) that you weren't going to move on. You're just trying to shift the blame at this point.

and this is where I post redundancies and spell things out.

and this is when I change where to when, like it should be.

Your assessment is not correct.  That was me agreeing with his assessment (that seems reasonable to me) and agreeing to move on (I am happy to do so).

No, that is where MKC continued to assault my character even after I openly agreed to his terms and ended the discussion.

No, that is where I took issue with being criticized even after I openly agreed to his terms and ended the discussion.

Also known as continuing this discussion even after I openly agreed to his terms and ended the discussion.

I wasn't talking to him, I was talking to you.  If the terms of the agreement changed after I accepted them, I think it's important to note.

You're the one who wants to continue to argue this point.  As long as you continue to look for hidden meanings and question my motives, after I thought we had all agreed that was not going to happen, I'm going to respond and try to resolve the issue.

So is the issue now resolved?  Or are there going to be more questions about my character to the exclusion of everyone else?

Then why didn't you say so in the first place? I was defending MKC because your apology didn't seem sincere, and he responded in the way it came across. Even in your next response, the tone continued. So now that you've been straight forward, we can move on.

PSP FTL. and yes, I'm a hater that hasn't ever played it, but I like Mario and Fire Emblem, so...

Then why didn't you say so in the first place?

This is kind of my point: it is precisely what I said.

I am glad to have this resolved amicably.

it's not that hard.....
