Title: Settlers of Catan

I have heard that Settlers of Catan is available for the xBox, and I have the original xBox (not the 360). Does anyone have Settlers of Catan that they'd be interested in trading me for some cards? Or is it only available for the xBox 360?

I think its only available for the 360 and i believe you have to use Microsoft points to get it with Live.

The wikipedia article seems to indicate that.

It also mentioned a DS version planned....

It's great that Catan is getting some play, but honestly, 15 years after it came out in the US, the shine is kind of gone for me.  My experience with the game is reduced to cursing the die rolls that never produce for me, as I plod along a rather bland series of decision trees.  It's not that the game is not a classic, it's just that so many games have come out in the meantime that are getting better and better.

The addition of Ticket to Ride to XBLA is the best step forward I've seen them take (not that adding Catan and Carcassonne were not also awesome).  What would be ideal is if they could get in some REALLY excellent games like Stone Age, Agricola, or 1960.  Or Power Grid.

The only way I could give you Settlers of Catan would be to give you the XBOX 360, too. :P

Though, I have given you an XBOX for Christmas before, so who knows if it would happen again. ;)

settlers of catan is only available on xbox live arcade. sorry. :(
