SO... I got 3 games at gamestop for the get two and get one free thing. I got mech warriors assault, Medal of Honor, and The Great Escape. Get home put mech warriors in and it says it can't play on this xbox because its not the original xbox it was played on.....something should be done about that. I'm gonna return it for somehting else and suggest them to throw it out.

that doesn't sound right.....like your Xbox is doing something weird maybe

are you trying to play it on a xbox or xbox 360?

edit: im going to assume you have a 360, because the other two games you have are backwards-compatible on a 360, while mechassault is not. only mechassault 2 is backwards-compatible on a 360. i suggest taking the game back and we'll be glad to give you another game, store credit, or your money back.

Also, just out of curiosity, why buy Xbox games when there are even better 360 games out there?

For the same reason I got Deus Ex a year or two ago. Old games can be just as good.

I have a original xbox, not 360. I took it back and got a different game but the guy said, "Hm, really?"  Got the da vinci code instead.
