Okay, so this just begs the idea of a Redemption Go App. You can pick a starting Hero, a 1/1, train it in the spiritual disciplines, go collect enhancements, and then fight Evil Characters along the way. Once you train it to a 12/12, you can put it in your gallery and start working on a new Hero. Maybe you can use it less frequently as it gets bigger (once as a 12/12, twice as a 12/11 or 11/12, 3 times with 11/11 or 12/10 or 10/12, etc...). Every time you defeat an Evil Character in battle, the EC could drop the rest of their Enhancements, you can pick them up, and use the attack/defense as currency to either train, do better at finding enhancements (I like this), or fight the next fight more effectively.
It could integrate scripture memory, prayer, and other spiritual disciplines so that the players are encouraged to do the same. I wonder if it could even have a voice recognition element that you would have to repeat memory verses for the training to work. Maybe it could incorporate different ways of learning verses (thinking reverse hangman - eliminating a word each repetition) or chunking (repeating small sections of the verse and then blending those chunks together). And, it could revisit older memorized verses later so you retain them. A Bible reading plan could be a flip-through, which there would be no guarantee the person would read - that might be harder to assess. But, some reward for a once-daily reading - or maybe up to 3 options: OT, NT, Psalms.
Tournament Hosts could register their location and get an influx of Enhancements and/or Evil Characters at the time/location.

SirArgentum is my son, Joshua. You might remember him.    He heads back to Southeastern University tomorrow. He'll be living in the dorms this year, his first time living away from home. 

However, there are a bunch of Stops and Gyms on campus, so he'll probably be more faithful with sending gifts than me. 

My wife's screen name is Love2EncourageU, and my daughter's is RainbowEevie, just in case they decide to add more friends.

He doesn't look like Harry Potter anymore, but he will never forget that Halloween back in Connecticut when he did wear the costume. All those kids following him around everywhere we went, trying to get his autograph or just touch his cloak. He never went trick-or-treating again after that.
