I ended up with Twilight Princess  ;D

now, how do you get that basket? I've found the monkey, but IDK how to get him down.

lets see if I have this right: I need to get the basket to get the fishing pole, I need the fishing pole to (get a fish...) and bait the cat, I need the cat to get the empty bottle, I need the empty bottle to store the bee larva in, I need the bee larva to sell to the shopkeeper so I can get a slingshot. right?

My son types the following:

You know that hawk grass that you blow to call the hawk? Well,if you throw the hawk at it the monkey drops the basket and you can fish for the cat and get a bottle.

This is correct, but to clarify, you don't fish for the cat, you fish for a fish and the cat takes it.

Also once you get water bombs go down and free the trapped Goron, he gives you a second bomb bag

Where is the trapped Goron?  Also, the guy in hyrule begging for money, does he do anything? Also the lil kid who wants spring water, what does he give you?

The guy asking to pay for the shop is the start of a long side quest to get the magic armor, the guy asking for peace gives you a heart container after you give him enough money (5000 I think)

I went to a video walk-thru... it wasn't castle-town... I misread. it was the lady at the hidden village...

I was just thinking about this game today. I really loved it but I lent it out and it was stolen.

No, it's a long story. Essentially, her (the person I lent it to) sister is a crazy druggie. Her mom finally kicked her out. When she left, she took the Wii and all of the games. Apparently, she sold them.
