looks like the same exact thing as all the others but with chat...I'm dissapointed
i know this topic is old,but whos wanting to get it??if u do want to,try to get the wii speak thing so we can talk to eachother over WI-fI connection
the reason y is that IGN game city folk a 7.5 and thier ALWAYS right,so i'm not getting it.
and werent you the same person that awhile ago bought a game based on ratings by IGN, then ended up not liking it? just to let you know, ratings on how good a game is is not 'always right'. its an opinion, not a fact. there have been many games in the past that have received lackluster reviews when it first came out, then later on received stellar commendations when those same games were given a chance. tempest 2000 and rez are ample examples of these types of games.based on animal crossings superb and well-received past, its hard to find that city folk will be a 'mediocre' game. given the fact its a family-friendly title with much more features than past versions in the series and it has very high replayability value, i find the wii version delivering up to and beyond our expactations.
im not criticizing what you buy, i'm criticizing the process you use to determine what games you buy. buying/not buying a videogame just because a particular source says its awesome/not awesome is not a good rule of thumb. sure, its ok to do some research and see what other people are saying about the game, but it ultimately comes down to what you personally like and dont like. super smash brothers brawl is a great game to alot of people, but alot of hardcore fighting genre gamers do not prefer it because its not as technical as say tekken or soul calibur. just because they dont like it doesnt mean its an awful game, though. so, the only advise i can honestly give is to try any game with an open mind and see if it grows on you. power to the players.
if i did that, i would have to sell everyone on these boards games for half price. sorry buddy.the best thing to look out for is when i open up my 'videogames for redemption cards' trade thread in the market. this year alone i've traded videogames and videogame systems for almost $1,000 worth of cards. keep your eyes peeled
