Figured they'd add MegaMan for the Smash Brothers on the first Nintendo console I don't (and wasn't planning to) own. :P

I actually bought a DS lite refurbished from Gamestop in lieu of a 3DS. I don't do that much handheld gaming (mostly if I'm bored on the bus or whatever) so the expensive one with the fancy stuff I didn't really feel like paying for.

I may upgrade at a later date, but I can't imagine playing Smash Brothers on a tiny screen (or 2).

If only it were that simple. There's the small matter of needing the funds. :P

I'll probably get the 3ds version since I really like smash bros.  Its not enough to get me a console from this generation though.

Hoping for a special edition Smash Bros 3DS XL. Have all of the special edition handhelds all the way back from DS Lite Zelda edition.

The Zelda ones are usually my favorite ones. Picked that one up this holiday season, and as with the previous Zelda editions it's sure to go up quite a bit on the secondary market over time.

Still...a Super Smash one would probably easily become my fave if it's designed tasty.

How can you really play smash bros on a ds lol.  GTA series had such a great transition to DS...so I guess it might work.  ::)

Because when you really get down to it, smash bros is not a terribly complicated game.  The biggest issue is the camera and being able to see things, but they've already mentioned how they are working to prevent that problem (such as putting a dark outline on the 3ds characters so that you can see them easier).
