1) Priestly Breastplate might work out for you, but one of the best strategies in Green/Teal is to use Jeremiah or Zechariah with Hidden Treasures, then use Burning Incense. To use Zechariah, you either need HoH or Altar of Incense up so it isn't negated. Altar of Incense makes BI CBN, so it would get around Priestly Breastplate.

2) In T2, you can have up to five of any character or enhancement in a deck of any size, except multicolor, and you can have three of any Artifact, Curse, Covenant, or Fortress. 1 per 50 only applies to SA Sites and LS's.

3) I'm not a type 2 player myself, but I'm pretty sure the deck is way too big to be competitive. Also, think of all the cards you have just one of. With only two searches, you will rarely if ever draw those cards. Go for smaller, and more streamlined deck construction. Most T2 players I know adhere to the philosophy that you have 3-5 different enhancements, and between 2-5 copies of each of them, for offense and defense.

That's true.  I was going over Bubbleboy's T2 post and read that ignores are a big thing (which is why I wanted a high priest to put the breastplate on).

Sweet :).  I guess I misread that rule as the same duplicate rule as T1.  I'll lower the deck when I have time this week.

I know they recommend being in the lower hundreds.  I will be lowering it as soon as I get some free time.

Thanks for the advise.

Overall (knowing that my main strategy is shuffling and capturing), any advise?

A good way to look at it is
-a deck should be 100-120  (130 can work with drawing)
- Find a combo and abuse it then do that a couple more times and thats your deck
  -Panic Deamon and DOU
  - 2k Horses Forgotten HIstory
  - these combos take almost no cards and are garunteed blocks.

-Guardian Of Your Souls
-New Jerusalem
-Falling Away
-Holy Grail
- Gifts of the Magi - either mor hurr or take it out

are all cards that in type 2 just aren't that amazing.   You either need to add more searching abilities or those cards just don't pack enough punch.

Your deck seems like it going to be very slow.  Its becuase you have a two color offense.   A two color offensemeans that you will draw half as many usable cards per turn.  Going with a single color deck, allows you to be able to burn enhacements. (playing with out worry about next turn).  With an extra birgade it j ust makes card management more difficult.

I am in the process of cutting it down to 127 (cutting cards has always been my weak point :P).  I will probably add either another Hur or another gifts (since I do have multiple searches and Midwives).

The main reasons I wanted to splash a little teal in is to have Z temp for an extra artifact slot and Trumpet Blast to discard evil fortresses.  I was thinking of a combo with Ezra and all my captures but probably will take him out in the end.  As of right now, I do have Haggai to search for Z temp (if I don't use one of my searches) and Zechariah/Jeremiah as the two heroes that can use teal (only have Trumpet Blast and Burning Incense (since my green Aaron can hold Priestly Breastplate and I could have Alter Of Incense in Z temp).  Should I just completely ditch Z temp?

MY defense will mainly be capture with reaccurance (Imitating Evil) and enough fortress destroyers to be able to take care of protection forts (a couple of set ires and a couple of axes (so I should draw one of them quick enough).

Does that sound good?  I will try to finish it this week so I can post an updated deck.

Thanks for the help.

I was finally able to finish my T2 deck today after getting sent home due to a power outage.  I finally caved in and got rid of my Z-Temple offense (kept Trumpet Blast to use with Jeremiah and Zechariah).

As mention in my other post, my main offense is shuffle and my main defense is capture.  I have plenty o ways to take care of protection fortresses and a couple of ways to hit sites.

Please give a plethora of advise so I can get this deck (and T2) down good enough to start posting trade information for the cards I need (defendantly need lots of Head Of Gold :P).

God Bless

I am not well versed in a T2 green offense but I do know that Provisions is amazing.  Jeremiah and Habakkuk make it even better because they get around one of it's counters, KotW.

On defense I'd use more Swift Horses.  The one Apprehended should be another Carried Into Exile or Head of Gold.

I took out one Two Bears and one Search to add two provisions.  I also took out Apprehended for one more swift horse (since I already have four HOG and three carried).

While starting to morph my T1 deck into T2, I noticed that I still had Altar Of Incense in my T2 deck.  I only had it in to se with Z Temp.  I switch both of them out for two Unholy Writ.

Thanks for the advise.

Anymore advise?

If you really want to get the Hur + Gifts combo, you probably need at least one more Hur, otherwise you'll likely not draw him very often.

Funny you should mention that.  While I was going through my cards this morning to see which cards I need to trade for, I notice that I left Haggai in (he was for my Z-temp support that was taken out when I reduced the deck size).  I switch him out for another Hur.  Thanks :).

Any other advice?  How do my artifacts/curses/covenants look?

Are you going to be using Captured Ark as an enhancement or an artifact? If the latter, you may want to add another to help guarantee you'll get the effect sometime during your games.

I never use curses/covenants as enhancements.  I was thinking of adding another one to help against Blue Tassel but wasn't sure what to take out?  Do you think I should only have two Go Into Captivities so I could add another CA?

I'd suggest some artifact destruction. 1 blue tassels hurts your defense really bad.
Not quite a ghost...but not quite not.

That is one of my two major weaknesses (the other one is a strong angel offense).

I do have two Desecrate the Temple, DON, and a CA (soon to be two once I figure out what I want to sacrifice for it) to take care of active Blue Tassels (and have three Neb pride in case I can't get past their protection from capture).  I also have two The Imperial Guard to have a chance to discard an inactive BT.

What would you recommend I add to take care of Blue Tassel?

Well... I just got back from the tournament down south where I was actually able to use this deck and to my surprise...I got first place ;D ;D ;D.

I would go into further detail about the games but after driving eight hours round trip while only getting five hours of sleep kind of have me drained right now :P.

Thanks ;D

Though, now that they are expecting me, I'm sure they all will add some more Blue Tassels and Cov Of Philly into their decks.  Better start getting ready for Regional (which is the next time I could go down south).
