Is there a reason to not utilize 4 Uzzahs in every T2 deck that has a fair amount of artifacts?

There's a lot more FBTN in T2 than there is in T1.  Uzzah also is stomped flat by Thad (still a popular offense) with even minimal backup.  Depending on the size of your deck, 4 Uzzahs may be nice, but it might be a better idea to use the slots for evil, especially if you have a smaller amount thanks to a "fair amount of arts."

FBtN heroes, Cov. w/ Death and Water Jars are legitimate concerns when using 4 Uzzahs.

Also, having x4 of any Unique Character risks clogging up your hand. In addition to Thad, Abby also stops Uzzah.

If you're not playing with at least 1 Uzzah in T2 I'd posit that you're doing something wrong - If you're not playing with 4 Uzzah's in T2 I'd posit that you're doing something right. As Red Wing mentioned, hand clog becomes a factor with that many of any unique character, let alone one that people are typically hesitant to play down because he's vulnerable in territory.  SomeKittens is also correct in his statement that FBTN and Thad are problematic. I find the best number of Uzzah's is 2 in a two player deck, and 3 in multiplayer provided you're playing a darkness to share blocks.

The deck I used to win the T2 only tournament in 2009 used 4 Uzzah. Although it's usually a not the right choice, it's not always the wrong one.

But that was back when you could have 5, so you still weren't at the max.  What situation would warrant cramming the maximum number of Uzzahs in?

My best T2 decks have never used 5 of any card (SitC was not my deck). I typically maxed out at 4, even when you could use 5, and only if a card is really important to my strategy. So 4 was a max, at least for the way I build T2 decks.

Uzzah "kills" himself, so you don't have to be as concerned about duplicates as you might with other unique characters. Also, I'd never use that many copies without some kind of useful outlet for the duplicates I draw, such as Bronze Laver. In that particular deck I had 14 Art/Cov/Curse to discard to Uzzah, including 3 Laver. It also contained brown enhancements to play on him in battle occasionally.

I haven't played T2 this season so I can't say whether or not that would be a good choice these days, but it worked well then.

I am not a fan if splashing in Uzzah's in a normal deck. In a deck such as my old school ANB reset deck, yes 2-4 Uzzah's is fine. Uzzah is such a good card, and even a greater card when using him in a brown defense. I recommend 2 Uzzah's in every brown defense, but I do not use heavy artifacts, so I do not like Uzzah's. I am a big pro-first hand kind of guy. Meaning I want to attack and block first hand. My decks are made so there is no X does not work unless Y is out, for the most part. Running 7-9 artifacts with 2 Uzzah's, or maybe even 3, is definitely beneficial, but now you had to add more lost souls, and have 2-3 EC's with usually nothing to play on him. He is a block, but he is also a artifact killer. If you run Uzzah's your deck must be able to support him. More artifacts, and I would even say not in 100 cards.
