I think you can see the theme. Not sure how to shore this up for the Minnesota Tourney. (I was going to build ANB deck but understand there are certain fines and/or licences to be paid in Minnesota) Would like your thoughts? Should I put something in to Negate an opponents Trap of the Devil or WoP so I can use their Heroes? Should I throw in a Widow to band to?

Just remember this "Mr. Bill".... everyone needs to play me to make sure they have at least one win in the tourney. And that is the only reason you insist on me coming. Tim needs me so that he can have someone rip 3 HP so that he can still win. Gabe needs me so that he can be the second ugliest man at the tourney. Nathan needs me so that he can no what not to become when he grows up.  So now I need everyones input so that I can have on my resume' that I had the best deck at the tourney and that I still couldn't figure out how to play correctly. ::)

Listen.......you can almost hear the violins playing.....Notice I didn't say anything mean about my hero Matt. I understand that he is providing me a room Sunday night. ;D

Hey, Gabe told me the same thing the year before. I kinda believed him too, 'cause the guy who took second at Nationals last year in T2-MP managed a single paltry lost soul when he shared a T2-MP table with me at Regionals last year.   :P

And I still placed :P  It was all your fault too, with your stupid ANB's never letting the souls fall right. (I'm pretty sure I was fallen away also, so two paltry souls ;) )

I'm pretty sure that Matt still holds the record for the most consecutive ANBs.  Someone doesn't like to let other people have a turn... ::)

I know the guy who posted this deck.  He's pretty old and has trouble counting past 1.  That's the reason for all the 1 ofs.

Count, so sorry that your thread has become hijacked but you are competition so we must do all we can to keep you from improving your deck...

On that note, let me see if I can steer you the wrong direction: ;)

Why Ira (k) instead of Ira (w)?  Seems to me that (w) would be better.
Why no Captain of the Host (w) for that Seraphim/Tribal/Tribal/Tribal/Tribal/Jacob/Cptn action?
Why the lone Miriam?  She's Green and ignores your defense.  It really stinks if an opponent bands to her.
Two Dragon Raid will not be enough to win against a Site deck.  Promised Land and Priestly Crown help.
It seems like there should be more ECs that can wear and use your horses to full potential.  I only count 2.

Okay boys! This old Fart would like some feedback on this LOSER deck. I am tired of hearing about your successes.  ;D I wanna know whether I need to go to the dark side and play well conceived and thought out decks or continue being shark bait for others. Speak loudly I am old.

Curses
Unknown Nation x3
Captured Ark x2
Confusion of Mind x1

Fortress
The Trap of the Devil x1-out for KotW priests
Jerusalem Tower
Storehouse
Wall of Protection

Evil Cards
Egyptian Archer x3
Emperor Claudius x1
Failed Objective x5
King Elah   x5
Pharaoh Hophra x1
Pharaoh's Throne Room x1
Potiphar    x1
Potiphar's Wife x1
Seven Wicked Spirits x2
Swift Horses x3
Wonders Forgotten    x5
I do not think this defense will stand up too long. I would split this with brown with the new Gomer, Unlcean Spirit, and Esau and play Egyptian Horses with Gib Tricks/Wonders Forgotten, all times 5. That way you have 10 cbn battle winners and not many enhs, but should have it around the first or second turn.
Covenants
Covenant of Noah   x1
Covenant of Palestine x1
I am Grace x1
Obedience of Noah   Main x1-? The enh? I didn't think you were that old.  ;)

Good Cards
Abraham's Servant to Ur x5
Answer to Prayer x1-out for capn warriors
Benjamin    x2
Cup of Wrath x1-out for capn warriors
Ira (K) x1-out for warrios
Jacob foof x2
Leah x1
Levi x1-switch for another jacob
Mary Magdalene x1-switch for another tribal elder
Miriam x1-? what
Numerous as the Stars x1
Rebekah   x1
Reuben's Torn Clothes x3
Seraphim - Isaiah 6:2 x1-add another
Trapped in Cleverness x1- i would do another RTC
Tribal Elder x4-might wanna do 5 of these

Artifacts
Blue Tassels x2
Darius' Decree x2
Dragon Raid x2
Stone Pillar at Bethel x1
Thirty Pieces of Silver x1-out for priestly crown
Unholy Writ x1
Wool Fleece x1-out for promised land

Lost Soul - II Chronicles 28:13 x1
Lost Soul -  x14

Never thought of that. That new King Ahaz might be a reasonable card to add as well using this thought.

Mary Magdalene is in there for that TGT my opponent may break out. Think I will keep it for that. Didn't think about site access. Thanks for that observation. I will add a Capn or two.

Great advice Mr. Hiatus....except calling me out on my age. Will you be at the tourney in MN? If you are look me up.

i see this offense hitting a brick wall if it dosen't draw well.   IF you don't draw a captain all your tirbals are useless.    Your other main charecters from what i see are bbtn,  this can work but has a huge problems.  First is arts kill this deck,  a person with 3hoh and possiably and ashera pole or to just will laugh.   IF you don't pull you blue tassles first turn your in big trouble.  Becuase if i caputer your captain its game over (most brigades have cbn capture).

One last thing there is no charecter recursion.   this means there is a good chance that you will run out of heroes.

one more thing you have 10 blocks for defense max,  I know my current deck has 20 and they are all cbn

That's not true. Can you stop 2-4 tribal elders...it's still a minimum 12/10 but probably 18/15 chain coming at you. If anything you have to waste 2-3 battle winners and that's if he doesn't have an Abe's Servant in his hand.
Quote

Honestly when is the last time you saw a deck with 3 HoH's, let alone an Asherah Pole. And like I said above, even if their enhs cbn, they still have to have them all.
Quote

Evild gold has Enslaved by Egypt which has to have a site on and be played on an Egyptian. Brown requires DoM to be played on Zeddy and you would still have a 1/1 against a band btn. PG has Esau, no one uses him since Assyrians came out. Orange, nope, Grey/Crimson each require Nerg and Naaman for their cbn, and Nerg requires other Babylonians to be out. Black does not have a cbn capture...so pretty much by the time they get this out he should have a Blue Tassels, that is IF they have this in their deck. And once again you think his btn band is his whole offense, he still has RTC and some other sneaky ways of getting lost souls. And remember, sometimes all you need is a hero.
Sorry to be quoting you and calling you out, but it seems like you are playing the what if game. Which yes one needs to consider all aspects when making a top competitive deck but Count Fount loves to have fun and just play the game first off, and secondly there is simply too much in the game now to say what if to everything that hurts a deck. You could what if to every top 3 nats ranking deck, that didn't stop those decks from ranking. Trust me I have played some decks that if people used an artifact or played a certain defense I would have lost, sometimes you just have to play it.

This is a vicious lie started by everyone who loves to beat up on old people. I frankly resent the idea of letting anyone younger than me play in these tourneys. Wrotten young people everywhere, don't have jobs, mooching off their parents. I still have a three year old that doesn't have a job. Yes I love this game...My best games are played against myself, if I can get Maynard to show up.

Maybe i just play diffrent then most people but i would glady give you a ls to capture your captian.  Current count 6-7 captures in my deck.

My current deck could pull off 15 "auto" blocks (1 enhacement)   with probably another 3-5 blocks that require 2 enhancements.    These blocks are with your 2-4 elders if you had captain you would make me give you a ls in order to kill captain*, then allowing me to make these blocks no problem.  The problem is if i get rid of a tribal elder here and there then your in trouble.

*the tribal elders have a huge disadvantage with out a captain.  It opens your deck up to dou (pg),  FO (gold), the brown charecter (uzzah),  orance ec, fasle peace+ bearing bad news, self capture.

I will grant you that its just a bunch of what if's but that why i am studying to be an engineer.

Those are all very common among T2 defenses.
