Do you like Burial shroud?
it seems that this defense would have trouble against btn, how about 2x HoH?
Besides you dont have nazzy to stop the CA (okay you could shuffle in writ). You also need some way to get rid of placed enhancements/ horses, I am grace looks like your best option.
On a side note I hate it now that you basically have to add counters to thaddeus in every deck, or not play with the defense at all. This really hurts variety in the meta, I mean you couldn't really play this in a large tournament with all of the di running around. On the same note I couldn't play a saducceess defense competetively, or a brown defense, romans (which has a lot of stopping power for other brigades) and hope to win. All they have against thaddeus is gib trick which is easier said then down when big man is banded to something else. You pretty much have to play phars, herods, or demons.... Pharisees sounds like the best option over all because it is most effective agaisnt other defenses too.

Romans are probably the worst defense against di because of their low numbers. First They can be killed easily with crown of thorns and have no protection from it. Second their low defense, if they can make it to batte, can't stop thad other than balaams. If you block higher you won't be able to play anything except if you have horses. Which james conveniently negates. The only plausible way to get of an RDJ is in a side battle or get it off early in the game. Even if you do there is always HT to save one or if they have a healing card it can save em all. And to play rdj you have to severly limit your offense to OT. Balaams is a better tech which is best played in a pharisees or even an syrian defense where you can keep your guys alive. IMO pharisees have the edge becasue they can play pretension to keep him busy for a while.EDIT in the previous post I stuck romans in an odd position I ment to place them first and have the parenthesis refer to brown only and the last sentence. RDJ can defenetly is a counter if you can pull it off.
And why do you think Birth Foretold would fit perfectly?

But you almost have to play with an OT offense which is no fun, all of the power houses are nt. You can play red if you like.
