For both decks you posted, it seemed like the offenses were hardly new. What was the reasoning behind it? But both decks look solid.

The Disciples offense was included to test against some of the anti-Thad counters that we included in the set. It works best with a fast defense which is also what I was testing in this deck. If nobody tests a cookie cutter Disciples offense against the new counters we'll never know if they actually work, right? :)

The defense was to test out if all the drawing in the new Genesis Egyptian defense was OP. At the time the Pharaoh's Cupbearer discarded himself to draw 3 (as opposed to removed himself from the game to draw X). Since Pharaoh's Baker could recur him the speed it generated was sick. Obviously our testing led to that card being changed.

For point of reference, I believe there was one game I played vs. this deck where the game ended with me having 70+ cards in my deck, and Gabe with 20 or so in his. It was pretty ridiculous. That was before the Cupbearer was changed.

Needless to say, Gabe won.
