This is a strategy that I got from some discussion in the Combos and Strategies child board.  If you read, you must comment!   ;D haha.  The T2 thread doesn't get enough comments.  It is also in its original version, though I have some changes that I'll probably make, pending discussion here.

My offensive strategy is to band all these heroes in from my draw pile with Creation of the World.  I don't really need negates (though I have Abraham's Servant to Ur), because of the massive amount of heroes.  Basically, in the ideal situation, I attack with Abel with Hidden Treasures out.  Play Creation of the World.  A New Beginning asap, to reset.  Rinse, Repeat.  Also, all these Genesis heroes have pretty cool special abilities.  I need to add in RoA Genesis cards, I didn't have access to them when I was making this deck.

My defensive strategy was made in a rush, but it held up pretty well in my 4 games I've played so far.  It was really nice to have 2 evil brigades I can use to thwart Jacob and RTC.  Bronze Laver was in there because I kind of thought this would be a really fast deck with 25 cards of it coming out with Creation of the World.

In the tournament I went to, I won 0/2 for 2 player and 2/2 for multiplayer.  Basically, for multi, I used Zebulun a lot.  However, I think this deck has potential.  Both losses were 3-7.  The one person had helped me build my deck so he tried to prevent me from playing Creation of the World.  The other didn't give me many chances to rescue.  I really had a problem getting Rachel or Abel up.  I want to add in another Abel, another Rachel, and Holy Grail to convert my own.  Also, I think Coat of Many Colors would work really well in this deck.  I had a lot of trouble with 2k horses, even though I didn't think I would.  I need to add in something against that.

Possibilities to add in:

RoA Genesis cards
Abel
Wall
Hidden Treasures
Storehouse
Harvest Time
Unholy Writ
Witnesses to Creation (would fit nicely with theme)
Crown of Thorns (makes Zeb more effective)
Holy Grail
Murmuring (one person I play recurs a lot.  Yes, this is you, Ring Wraith)
Aaron's Rod (2k horses)
Captured Ark
Rain Becomes Dust (2k horses)
Covenant of Palestine or Blue Tassels
Altar of Burnt Offering + Sin Offering, Burnt Offering (2k horses)
I Am Grace (2k horses)

ok, you definatly need to add another Abel, also stick in an Asher. I don't think storehouse is necessary because of your lack of enhancements. you might want to add another Zebby... he's a beast. I don't see how Crown of Thorns would make Zeb more effective, in fact, it'd make Zeb less effective... unless of course you do it on seperate turns, but I've always not enjoyed the 2 turn set up for one rescue attempt.

Quote
Murmuring (one person I play recurs a lot.  Yes, this is you, Ring Wraith)
die a slow and painful death. if you do, you better not bother playing Egyptian Rat (insert preferred name here) on Wed. or else you'll be the one bleeding... yes, that's a threat (side note, there was blood drawn playing that game... though, neither of us were the cause or victim.)

don't add Alter of Burnt Offering... it's really not worth it. I am Grace would be a better choice.

so basically, do what we decided last tournament... which has nothing to do with Murmuring, you little (insert prefered negative word here)!!!

WHY DOES EVERYBODY IN MY PLAYGROUP HATE MY DECK???!!!

My advice:  Don't take advice from the guy who's usually your opponent. ::)
thing is, murmering wouldn't hurt me that much (I realize that now, after my tirade...) because what's he gonna remove? the enhancements I don't get back? as soon as I'm out, I get whatever I just used back...

I am Grace would be difficult with the lack of enhancements... but Alter + teh offerings are too many cards.

the rest of my advice wasn't biased.

oh, and almost forgot to mention... you were supposed to comment on the deck  ;)

Franta, to be honest, I can't see this deck performing very well. Here are some of the issues I see...

How do you plan on stopping TSA or CoTH or any other BTN hero?

Only five green characters total?  You are going to end up waiting a bit to pull off your combo.

Only two different green characters? King Zed and the Dungeon will tie you in knots.

Banding a huge number of characters by itself does little except give your opponent a day and a half's worth of initiative. If nothing else, you want to bump up the number of Abe's Servants to five so the FoOF Jacob can play it immediately.

How would you get past HHI or 12 Fingers?

Once you've used Creation of the World you will need to wait until you can play ANB in order to reload. After you've pulled that off once no one is ever going to give Rachel or Abel initiative ever again. The idea is cool, but it develops too slowly on the reload to make it feasible.

All those beautiful Genesis characters, and only four enhancements they can play.

On another topic... Gabe is right about trusting Ring Wraith.

I think it would be better if you went to just green and blue on offense.  The other Heroes are just fluff.

Your defense doesn't look like it can hold for more than half the game.  Infectious disease is great unless they have priests.  Priests aren't exactly uncommon either.  You need more battle winners that will work in a FbtN situation.

Most basic type two rule: If you only have one you probably shouldn't use it.

Oh, you can't have 3 of any Lost Soul because your deck isn't big enough.
May you prosper greatly!

Eh, well, this deck was butchered.  Just keep in mind this was a huge experiment.  The point was kind of that I could search for like almost half of the deck so I'd be drawing dominants and defense faster.  My defense I had kind of thrown together, also.

Yeah, I need to add more green heroes if I continue with this deck.  Unfortunately, only Abel and Rachel are green and Genesis.

For the band, a lot of the genesis heroes have sweet special abilities; I also had the advantage of basically knowing which decks I'd play and what I had to face.  So I never had to worry about their evil.

For troublesome artifacts, Captured Ark or ANB.  If i was blocked with 12 fingers, I wouldn't play creation of the world.

Yeah, the combo was really slow, I am trying to find a way to speed it up.  Also, about my good enhancements, I really kind of wanted this to be a strange deck i guess, and just to be Creation of the World, reset with ANB.  Didn't work I guess ;D

Yeah my defense is pretty bad!!   ;D
And I forgot about the 2 LS thing.  haha.

Thanks for the input everybody!  Guess I'll go back to the drawing board!!  ;D

EDIT:  So, anybody got any good ideas I can use for the upcoming T2 tournament, then?? ;)

Green/Teal => Zechariah + Hidden Treasures + Altar of Incense + Burning Incense
Fill in the gaps with Phinehas, his spear, and Zeal for the Lord.  Benaiah Snatches a Spear and Scapegost would probably be of use as well.  Sword of the Lord is always fun too.

Crimson defense with Leviathan, The Serpent, Judas, and Red Dragon.  Plenty of great Enhancements to choose from that are effective.
May you prosper greatly!

Crimson? not babylonian? what??!!!

I agree for the offence... Joshua, Phinehas, Zach, Hur, ANB, Burning Incense, Zeal, Two Bears... something like that? of course, you'd need some more heroes...

Leviathan and The Serpent have the least targetability out of all Evil Characters, advantage you.  A defense with them in mass is not expected, advantage you.  Crimson defense without Babylonians is unexpected, advantage you.  Leviathan just in general, advantage you.

ok... so Animals cannot be converted... Leviathan can't be captured... but that still doesn't help you against the power enhancements like Zeal, AoCP, Two Bears etc.

Samson is gold, correct? If so, he will sit back and watch you get owned by Red  because noone else would take it 8).

I don't know, was he referring to Samson's Strength?

Samson’s Strength

Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Yellow • Ability: 4 / 3 • Class: None • Special Ability: Hero ignores all Animals and Beasts. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Judges 14:6 • Availability: Patriarchs booster packs (Uncommon)

And it can only be used once, what is better??! ::).
There were no other cards that specified Animals, and beings it was connection with Samson I thought he could be thinking of that...

Back to the main point, Leviathan is awesome. I'd use him in every crimson deck I make! Not so much with The Serpant....

Just to be fair... Opponents can use AoCP and you have no way to protect these characters, advantage them.

I actually like this type of defense. Remember that Judas basically gives you unlimited initiative against people who were planning to play discard or convert enhancements, and plan accordingly. (Double remember that Captured Ark is Crimson.)

You may want to add a Fallen Angel (to band to Leviathan) and as many Midianite Attack as you can.

Unfortunately I got a Judas when priests came out, then I traded it and later realized I got the sore end of the trade.  I don't really trade too often I guess.

*sigh*  Oh well!

I don't think I'll use crimson though.  I know it's banned in MN, but I'm thinking of orange.  Or egyptians.
