I don't know. I look at it by elimination. The neutral count is to low for Assyrians and the offense is not fast enough for genyptians or pharisees. Also you have some synergy with Abimilech and Gideon. Nice call Gabe.

Canaanites.

Does anyone have any experience with Canaanites in t2? Just wondering how effective anyone has found them to be, as I have not had the chance to try them out.

I played 5 games with the defense across two tournaments.

Judges 1-1
Daniel/Silver 1-0
Genesis-1-0
TGT-1-0

I have found that when you play judges its a hit or miss. If you draw tower and women you can hold them off for a while. If you don't they can just pound you with jair and dd.

I don't have faith in the Can's, but I will try them out with this. Thanks. Anyone want to post a Canaanite defense for this?

Wrath of Satan is only good in type two if you have Carcassess. Canaanites lack many wc ecs so I didn't bother.

I'd take out one Lot's Daughters and put in Jezebel. That way you can remove an unsuspecting Joe or Sam, and still use Stone on her (she still gets init vs. Gideon). Otherwise I like Nathan's suggestions.

You can try to remove one of them but then again what are the odds that she catches them withough Edict or Joseph b4 Pharaoh? Personally I would rather take the sure block  of Samuel then find something else to do with Joseph then leave myself open to both. But it's totally a judgement call, because odds are you will have lots wife and Women of Thebez to block too if you think Jez isn't going to get it done atm.

Since Gideon is protected from Jezebel, he gives her init to play Stone, so that's not an issue. And while most often players will have a JBP or Edict handy, they might be depending on getting init to play Answered Prayer or Forgiveness of Joseph, or they might have attacked with Samuel just to draw 2. I think that the odds are good enough to at least include her. And like you said, you can always block with Woman of Thebez as necessary.

I ment Samuel and Gideon came out.

Sechum x1
Jezebel x1
Sisera x1
Lot's D x2
Lot's W x2
The Woman of Thebez x2
Abimilech x2
Gibeonite Delegates 4x

Joseph in Prison x4
Stone of Thebez x4
Gibeonite Trickery x4

Tower of Thebez x2

FA, CM, DoN, Burial

Added JiP for Genesis, and cause they are awesome and needed interrupts. Took out the Fortify/Babel/Pride of Simon/Mayhem.
I might add a splash of brown with King Ahab and Gibeonite Treaty's x3-4. Every defense I have made this year have been more than one color due to Genesis seeing a lot of play. If I splash King Ahab then I will add a Jezebel, take out 2 black EC's, add 2 Ahab's and Gib treaty.

Maybe play with the 1/1 black King so you don't have to wait until Joseph rescues lost souls to play it?

Depends if I run the brown or not. If I go straight black I can add Jehoahaz, if I go brown, then no.
