the first deck looks good.

the second deck needs some way to protect samson from discard (even though i think theyve killed that stadegy with rule change not listed yet)
how do you make samson bullet proof?
maybe add some King Reaboam's for sidebattle goodness with sacrifice?

I use birth foretold to protect Samson from all of my opponents cards and I use consuming fire to take care of the weapon class interrupts and pesky character abilities outside of the CBN characters.   I was thinking about using Ram's Horn to make it CBN protection or maybe Gathering Michael with Angel's Sword to play Birth foretold in battle to gain CBN protection for Samson.  I agree on Reaboam he would be a very nice add.

Birth Foretold. Yes, you should read it again. It's not just for retrieving SoG. It's also for making a Hero with an offense of 12 protected from anything your opponent can do.

I really like the second deck. I might actually put in a couple Blessing of Joshua (as immunity is one of the only ways to beat bulletproof Samson). Ambush the City is also a brilliant way to be able to play Samson's Sacrifice without losing your chance at a rescue.

I also agree with maniac's comment on King Rehoboam. The Crimson one would fit perfectly in your defense. Otherwise I would take out an Axe and maybe a Dream or two and add a few Midianite Attacks. Nebuchadnezzar fishing for Leviathan and then playing Midianite Attack against their battle winner is sweet.

The first deck looks okay, you just need some Land Disputes to hopefully get rid of Haman's Gallows. Otherwise Persians own TGT (since they can block from hand and are not as susceptible to territory destruction. Land Dispute might also help vs. Golgotha.

The other problem is that people will actually start using Red T2 decks with 4-5x David's Triumph and 4-5x Soldier's Prayer to recur them. If you run into one of those, you might as well give up. I would try to splash a few anti-red cards if possible, like perhaps Sisera and a few Wrath of Satan's. That way if they attack with a Red banding chain, you can ninja block with Sisera and they can't stop your JiP or WoS.

What's the point of strong angel, you can't band him to anyone, the only enhancement you have is Striking Herod which would only end the battle in mutual destruction.

I guess that would help, but you would run out of strong angels sometime

Blessings/Ambush sound like a good idea for the first deck.  Do you think interrupts will be a big problem for Samson with ?  I'll add some Mid attacks..

I mostly use TGT in the first deck for non negatable banding.  But I agree Persians with some plots would flat out crush the offense with plots.
Non negatable mass-removal from the game is the only thing that scares me about the banding chain with the New Covenant and the ease of access to it with Salome.  Sisera sounds like a good idea for the defense.  I could see those Red deck being used as well.

I need angels for my territory class enhancements.  TSA was the best choice outside of Michael and Angel of God (for nondiscardable archers).  Striking Herod (7/0) is nice on TSA.
