Which defense??

I am playing in a tourney sat. and am wondering which of my decks to use

Teal/stand alone - kinda boring to play tho...

Teal/babs - havent quite tried this one out fully

Red/babs - works 75% of the time except if my opponent is playing demons and household idols ;(
-what can i do to make this one better with my big banding things. useful cards to get rid of demons or immunity?

teal/philly site lock - works 50% of the time when i actually draw an evil character to defend with mostly this needs to get set up and then it works great...

I vote for Red Banding/Babs with lots of Interrupts and Negates, The Might of Faith, Soldier's Prayer and Three Nails.  I vote for this because no one plays Red anymore and I give you cudos for trying!

I built a Teal/Babs deck once. well, teal/crimson. cards like Saphirra, Leviathan, Ananias, Judas Iscariot, and The Serpent are just too much fun...
I never played a game with it, but I like the idea.

Seeing as how this is almost the exact same offense that I am running, I have a few tips.  I'm debating sharing them with you though, seeing as how I will be playing against the deck you make  ;)

For Red, throw in Ira (K) and Benaiah (K) to end your banding chains.  Asahel and Heldai can both band to them.  That will take care of immunity easily.  Orange would have a tough time with this, except for Wandering Spirit/Trembling Demon.

I also put both Gabriel and Amasai into my Red deck.  They are so useful for protecting your banding chains on offense and getting rid of an EE that can stop you, and Gabe can take out an offensive winner if you are confident in your defense after seeing their deck.  I complete the Silver splash with Captain and TSA.  My goal is to attack every turn and wear the opponent down with bands and FBTN.

I use 4 enhancements.  The Battle is the Lord's for my negate.  David's Mighty Men primarily for 12FG (with Asahel...  It just wins).  The Lord Fights For You, in case they run splash defense, which would be perfect for you (you have Babs only defense).  And of course A Soldier's Prayer to pull out/recur the card you need.  If I had Striking Herod, I would probably throw that in.  But few enhancements are needed - the heroes do the work themselves.

And if you are worried about Household Idols, throw in Lying Unto God and Destructive Decay to accompany your DON  :D  Although that would probably be overkill

Warrior's Spear is another card that I would consider throwing in.  The question is, what do you take out?  I guess it depends on how much defense you want to use.  If you are going lighter on the D, then definitely put it in.  I don't have one though...  Yet  :D
