Love this deck!  I've tweaked mine so many times!  It's one of the only decks I ever use!

Judges, TGT, Disciples, Defensive heavy. I disagree about genesis, its slow, capture prone, and auto block vulnerable.

I can't speak for T1, but I agree with TheHobbits evaluation of Genesis in T2.

Judges still very strong, though not pure judges often.
As for defenses, Canaanites are great, and used with Judges commonly.
Pharisees going strong.
Greeks got better cards, so they are used, and defense heavy normally.

Wow, not much has changed. I thought clay would be more widely used.

Clay is still being tested.
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

A pure clay offense (well, including some Fruits and dual-color Heroes, and 2 enhancements of those other brigades) won T2 2P at MN State. But overall I agree with RTSM, most people are trying to see how it best works as an offense, whether as a support brigade or on its own.

I guess we can call it that  ;)

You're right, I suppose it should have been more prepared to get around 3 rounds of Burial Shroud vs. a depleted defense with 2 minutes left in the game... >:(

I've never played T2, but in T1 i think it's viable.

The important ones:
AUtO: Short for The Angel Under the Oak - he's a silver Hero from the Rock of Ages tin sets that is the centerpiece of one of the more powerful offensive themes in the game, that is Judges. He allows you to draw and search out any one of your Judges (some of whom are very good Heroes themselves) and he pairs especially well with Gideon, as he is able to protect Gideon from anything your opponent can do to him.

TGT: Short for The Garden Tomb. It is a fortress that was the cornerstone of a very popular strategy for several years, though one that has declined in popularity over the past two seasons. Essentially, it allowed you to stop several of your opponents Evil Characters from even entering battle, and the main strategy was to either convert or discard Evil Characters that could block so that they were left only with the ones that couldn't. However, the popularity of other deck types (such as Judges) have seen its popularity decline, and a recent rule change to the ability "ignore" will likely result in even fewer decks using It, at least in the traditional way.

Thad: Short for Thaddeus. He is one of the Disciples, with what some argue is the best ability, at least in mid to late game. He depends on you having a lot of Disciples out in order to be effective, but once you do, there are relatively few ways to stop him.

The rest of the terms here mostly refer to other themes that you will hopefully learn as you learn the game. T1 and T2 (short for Type 1 and Type 2) refer to two of the main ways to play the game. T1 is the standard variation, while T2 has a few different deck building and game play rules that make it somewhat different than T1. Hopefully that helps somewhat, if you have further questions, feel free to keep asking!

Thank you, I think the only term I still don't get it the "meta."

Meta is an acronym for awesome decks made from the following:

Minnesota or Maryland
Earley
Tim or Tyler
Alstads

FTFY. He hates it when people make that mistake. Especially since he's usually late.

And to avoid further confusion, Xonathan, the meta really means the most popular decks being played. YourMathTeacher is making a comment that many of the best players come from MN or Maryland, and/or have one of the listed names, and hence the decks those players use are going to be popular. My hope is that if you and I ever play, you will find that it is not strictly true, as I prefer to play non-meta decks myself... ;)
