I have only been able to attend one tournament this year, the NY State Tournament so I feel out of the loop. Now that people have had a little more time with the ROJ set what kinds of decks have been performing well in some of the larger tournaments?Obviously not asking anyone to post their decklist or anything, just wondering what has been successful.
From what I have seen and read, Revelation angels/martyrs are a top offense. The Woman with Child, Michael to The Strong Angel, "He Is Risen!", Consider the Lillies, Fifth Seal, Angelic Guidance, Overcome!, Blood of the Lamb with Angel from the Sun to pull off Justin Martyr quickly and always have Blood of the Lamb/Overcome for a draw 5 and negate/discard every turn. It's very fast, and has the best, and most consistent access to the reserve. Then TSA can play first and toss CBN enhs. Overall I think Martyrs/Revelation angels are the top deck right now. I also like to add Entertaining Angels and Resurrection of Angels to band in all silver guys twice. Throne decks are still fast but Outsiders is really good in any deck practically, and orange banding also puts a damper on Throne, let alone 3 Woes. I didn't see BoM taking a big hits so that's still very viable. I'm still waiting for a solid T1 player to make the latest version of BoM that possibly incorporates Angel from the Sun and some Martyrs. I challenged Jay on it but maybe that deck isn't viable. Mono silver is fast and being played but I think the synergy with Martyrs is too good. A fast, efficient Martyr/revelation deck, or straight white, seems to be the top deck right now and I suspect the best version with best access to the reserve will win Type 1. Type 2 seems a bit open right now and I haven't heard, other than the t2 only, of what decks are running.
Hey, Thanks for the good info here, it is difficult to keep up with everything without being able to get to tournaments.
Wow, thanks for sharing, I wasn't trying to pull out a decklist, but thanks a lot!Is 4dc four drachma coin?I really like this BOM martyr mix, really cool.

It won the creation open and has been on a roll.Heroes - 10Angel from the SunAutOSamuel (RoA)David the PsalmistThe Woman with ChildJustin MartyrPolycarpMoses (CoW)Peter (TEC)Barnabas GE's - 6WotTF of SamF of MosesF of Moses' ParentsOvercome!Elymas Struck BlindSites - 1The Ends of the EarthArts - 3YWR4DCCov of PrayerReserve Offensive Cards - 3John, the RevA Child is BornBlood of the LambThat's a 20 card offense leaving you 15 spaces for the defense of your choosing and 7 defensive/neutral slots for reserve. Also you can argue Covenant of Prayer is defensive anyways.
Isn't Word of Christ just strictly better than Faith of Moses?
Why not have Blood of the Lamb in your deck for the potential opening draw? Martyr would still search it out.
I know that feeling. Since I started to play games regularly with a friend of mine in town, my game got a lot better. I used to only play a few games every few months when I would drive 2 hours to a tournament.
