Josiah's thread (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/off-topic/nats-champ-predictions/msg526914/?boardseen#new) got a little off track, so I'm trying again here.
What deck(s) do you think will perform well in T12P this year? Westy and I composed a tier list this week, with various versions of The Deck (spread OT offense), including Royalty-based, Prophets/Angels-based, and Judges-based and Disciples being top tier. We may have more on that later. I, personally, am starting to think that Disciples is extremely solid, and paired with a good defense may be able to take it this year (finally).

I don't know. I've seen some scary disciples decks, but prophets seem likely also.
-
I think that genesis will win.
-
I think that nothing anyone expects to win will win.

Time to go make a deck and call it "The Spanish Inquisition".

And make the offence red and the defense yellow, like the Spanish flag!
-
I'll say Silver with a splash of something else on offense and an Assyrian/Magician defense.
-
See the deck I'm running was Angels/prophets (splash) with Magicians was the deck I had built, but I enjoy playing decks that no one else does or decks that no one sees coming... which makes me not want to play that deck XP

I wonder if their are going to be a lot of people playing an exact copy of Josiah's deck that won nats last year? :o
-
Decks that repeat are rare.

It was mainly based off hand control as you can see here: http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/national-tournament-winners/2013-t1-2p-1st-place-deck/ (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/national-tournament-winners/2013-t1-2p-1st-place-deck/)
