What are the Top Tier Deck Options?

After the release of every set there is always the initial buzz about certain themes, cards, and new deck ideas, but then people play those decks and realize, "This isn't as good as _________."

Is there really any reason to assume that the best decks won't once again be Throne or BOM?

The defence might change a little because the new Guardian is pretty brutal on DOU and SSS, but do you think that ROJ changed the landscape enough to push BOM and Throne decks out of the top tier?

What would you list as "Top Tier" decks?

Thanks
Benjamin Campbell

I honestly think revelation white/martyrs or rev mono angels are the best offenses right now. Every t1-2p game I've played with either I've gotten 4 or 5 souls easily.

I'm not sure about  defense however. I think that will be the deciding factor at nats.

John the pocalyptist deck
Martyrs
Disciples
all of these are great offences, however all three can vary greatly just from the play style of the user, unlike with Throne, where the only real difference might have been someone tossing in an artifact or character(as far as I saw, anyways.)With the new set, there are so many things you can do, though. I'm so excited.

I think BoM and Throne will still be top tier, but they might need a few more things to help with the counters that were introduced in RoJ. They will also be hindered by the fact that their Reserve access will not be as easy as N.T. White or Revelation Angels.

N.T. White and splash White are going to be top tier. The Woman with Child and Justin Martyr can tie a lot of White themes together so even though I expect to see a lot of similarities, I think there will still be quite a bit of variety in actual builds (similar to how BoM could be White BoM, Gold BoM or Green BoM).

Revelation Angels might be borderline top tier...I think it's more likely we'll see Angel/White hybrid decks come out on top, but straight Angels will be a strong play. I could also see Disciples/Martyrs hybrid decks being very strong.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Well  three woes, outsiders, and Abaddon hit throne pretty hard. Old rivals like Vitellius and scattered emerge better than ever now that gray has more cbp options and coliseum doesn't see as much play. As far as BoM goes Red Dragon, Abaddon, and High Priest Ananias throw  moses around a bit, not to mention the slew of cbp enhancements printed in the new set. In short, if you play your bom deck or throne deck like you did last year you'll do fine against lots of decks but eventually you're going to get run over. Change it up, add a twist and you'll be fine.

I think an Angels offense with a splash defense utilizing the seals and bowls can be top tier. One important card I've been running in it is Nazareth. Since most of the deck's searching options are from RoJ they can search reserve as well as deck, getting around the restriction. The only card I have that is actually stopped completely by nazareth is Angelic Guidance. Being able to play nearly your entire hand on either offense or defense means if you get a slight advantage you always have way more gas than the opponent and I've even won negate wars against decked out clay.

Do you find that people will target Naz as soon as they draw 3 Woes? Does the fact that they aren't negating anything else make it worth it?

I only recall people using woes on it once or twice since they usually use it on something like a soul, conquer, 2k horses, etc. In the rare circumstances that it has happened though I'm fine with drawing the woes negate with so many other good targets that I usually have out.

Edit: I also just made a post with a full list of the deck I use http://www.cactusforums.com/type-1-deck-advice/wrath-(seals-and-bowls)/
