this deck is untested but it is based on a lot of decks like it ive seen.  you use benedictus and land dispute to kill golgotha and a-bomb and mayhem to kill anything else that stops ignore (pharaohs throne room, hamans gallows, wolves in sheeps clothing, any artifacts/curses that stop ignore you didnt get with DoN/lying onto God/lifting the curse).  lifting the curse is there to kill confusion of mind, peters curse, A-bomb, or an image of jealousy on WoP or any other curses that are annoying at the moment.  everything else is to defend and stop speed.  let me kow how i can make it better, thanks

What happens when they DoN your The New Covenant and CM Watchful Servant?  Or DoN your BotC when you have Josiah's Covenant and The New Covenant sitting on it?  You really need Lampstand and Chariot of Fire to make this work, especially if you are going to try and do it with 2 heroes instead of 3.  It's much too risky without them.

Also, AoCP wipes out your defense (unless you have some characters in KotW).  I'm not sure how you would fix this, but AoCP will be in every Disciples deck.  I prefer some Sadducees mixed with my Phillies to get protection through CP or High Priest's Palace, and also to take advantage of Herod's Temple's awesomeness.

Speaking of Herod's Temple...  Being able to get through those CBN battlewinners (MLaMG on Thomas, AoCP, Zeal, etc.) with HT's "instead" ability is huge.  Sometimes all you need is High Priest Ananias and some HT fodder in your hand to win battles.

I'm not sure these cards are worth it compared to what other cards your deck could have:
Glory of the Lord
Josiah's Covenant (Goshen or House in Bethany would be better)
Wall of Protection
Falling Away/Burial (since you need Lampstand in this deck, plus your deck will probably be slower than your opponent's)
NJ (AotL would be better, since it can take care of a character with Hating the Light/Large Tree/other anti-ignore card placed on it.  Plus, Magic Charms can ruin a WS deck quick.  It's better to keep this in to take out the magician with MC on it.  Plus, NJ or SoG might sit in your hand all game taking up a valuable slot that you need for Evil Enhancements)
Storehouse
Book of the Covenant

Just my two cents.  Take it for what it's worth - the best way to figure out how to run a WS deck successfully (and in preparation of as many counters as possible) is to practice with it.
If creation sings Your praises so will I
If You gave Your life to love them so will I

For the covenants, Book in the tabernacle with GotL is protected from negate and discard. Storehouse can hold enhancements to make the room for evils better than taking out NJ. Not trying to argue, just pointing out that they might be worth keeping.

Granted, I've never played a WS deck before. :-/
ANB is good. Change my mind.

glory+book+josiah and a new cov makes sure WS never gets killed pretty much. as long as i wait until i get josiahs up and protected to put WS down then he cant be killed by CM.  WS is protected from capture so im not worried by magic charms, but i had forgotten about hating the light and large tree, i will have to find a way around them other than A-bomb if they are protected.  i pretty much have to use phillies and greeks to kill all the ignore stuff, so i am hesitant to add in a 3rd theme, it would just streatch it too thin.  AoCP does kill the defence, but they have to play it first and i can get characters back with philly outpost, plus i do have 10 characters, so i can lose a few.  i can only have 1 temple in per deck, and i cant protect herods temple with glory, so then i cant use it to protect my covenants.  even if i use lampstand instead of glory for protection, they could use beheaded, high places and net (or another card with place that kills a hero, even though that means killing high places), A-bomb, or any other host of things that can get past lampstand.

i can only have 1 temple in per deck, and i cant protect herods temple with glory, so then i cant use it to protect my covenants.

If you are worried about protecting Herods Temple, couldn't you recur it with Moses and the Elders?  M&tE's SA is: "Search your discard pile for any good card, except a Dominant or Artifact card, and put it into your hand."<white brigade, 2/2)

If they somehow discard your HT you could get it back as long as you have initiative to play M&tE, right?

oh yea, well i meant land dispute, my bad.  i could do that, but that would involve entering battle and letting an evil character block, which could allow them to do a whole bunch of nasty things to me.  with this kind of deck, i only want to enter battle when i can control everything, meaning every evil character is ignored, because since there is basically next to notihng in the offense, then everything has to go perfectly and there is no room for error.

Goliath has no way to get past preblock ignore other than Hating the Light.  Goliath will never get to block.

On a side note...regarding Philly Outpost...could someone specify the "generic Philistine"....does that mean unnamed ECs such as Philly Garrison, Philly Priests, Fallen Warrior, etc. and would not include Goliath?

That is correct. Philistine Armorbearer is also generic thought and he can exchange for Goliath.

you cant negate josiahs cov because of glory, so casting lots does nothing and WS is protected

But what if I use Chariots of the Sun as well? I don't see a Huldah or King Josiah there...

My brother honestly added Chariots to his Assyrian defense back in my "Glory" days...twas a super fun deck, and I did pretty well with it, back when Blue Tassles and Priestly Crown were Temple Arts. I had Artifacts to get around any popular defense of the day.

you never get to use chariots of the sun because none of your evil characters get to enter battle because they are all ignored.  also, chairots of the sun only works against solomons temple, it doesnt do anything against the tabernacle, which is what i am using for that exact reason

because of a recent ruling that cov. in glory+tabernacle+book doesn't protect cov (that was made in a thread i know spawned from this deck), i figured out a way to protect the covenants.  you set king amaziah aside on worshipping God in kerith ravine and that protects covenants from opponents cards.  i had to bump it up to a 8 LS deck, adding a LS, an angel, worshipping God, and kerith ravine, plus bronze laver for speed.  i need 2 more cards to add to the deck, any suggestions?
