The purpose of the Judges stuff is to get speed with AUtO, harass their defense with Gideon+Sword, take any sites they happen to play or that get taken from me with Josh, and have a couple negates that can serve as backup if they play something that messes with my territory or to play on Watchful if they hold and EC or two in hand.

This is just my opinion, but I feel like turtle and lock decks aren't as powerful today with Joshua, and lots of cards with site access. How many games have you played with this deck and how has it done? Also, have you ever had trouble getting initiative with herods?
-
You gotta have more emphasis on getting cp out early told him the same thing.
Btc no mayhem??
-
As powerful as the BtC/Mayhem combo is, the strategy of his deck is to get them to deck out, and that combo works against that. I think I might still use Mayhem as a way to speed this deck up in case of a bad opening, but when the endgame is to get them decked, I don't necessarily want to pull off that combo.
-
I know sites are at an all time low in power level these days and this isn't really intended to be a top tier competitive deck, more of an attempt to make a deck with this style as un-bad as possible and see where it ends up.
I've played a few games with a less complete physical version of the deck (I don't have a Broken Covenant, TSC, and one or two other cards) and the only issue I had with sites was getting a bad opening, which is why I changed most of the souls to things like first round protect and escape. Getting initiative with Herods is sometimes an issue but a lot of the time I'm going to be either using Herod's Dungeon or Herod's Treachery to mitigate that.
I'm not running Mayhem because, while it would certainly be nice to have, without Foreign Wives it isn't ever a guaranteed block and also even in versions of the deck without Broken Covenant, my hand was always pretty full and it would be hard not to minus myself with a Mayhem.

if you just wanna deck them go with egyptian spear/warrior's spear and do the dang thing lol
then get your sing and praise/faith of gideon/sword against sword on to get the side battles in for the one two punches every rescue
i have a 50 card deck with an average size egyptians def that is consistently taking out 10+ cards per game with ease. 20 on a good day where hard hearted lasts more than 1 block and i get a nice revolt with a few solid side battles off..
you can cut down some herods and go with evil spawn, huge egyptian, queen tahpenes and i think cut btc for stormy seas
the mill definitely works they can be close games but if you get lucky and hit their key cards before they draw them they can wind up in a bind. especially with how tight people build decks these days. nearly every card is critical to their victory so if they lose 10 or 20 cards in a game they wind up just outta gas after 3 or 4 souls

You might want to play Ashtaroth Worship or some other recursion counter because Daniel/Ethan really wrecked you the last time we played.
-
That is true, I think I'll stick a Wonders Forgotten in there.
-
Yeah unfortunately the prevalence of You Will Remain means that it may not win you many battles though.
-
Neither will Ashtaroth Worship :P

Pretty much the only thing that will make Wonders Forgotten not win battles is Coliseum. YWR will just make him have to block another rescue :P
