Title: Uzzah?
Post by: DrowningFish on February 18, 2015, 05:39:42 PM
Is he worth just throwing in most decks? I mean I recently got him and he just seems so cool. But I digress. The only enhancement I can use on him in my deck would be scattered.

Do you have artifacts that you would be free trashing with him? Is there an open card slot? If so, go ahead, he is a good chump block.

It's been interesting to watch this old staple fall out of favor with a lot of people.  EC negation and protection of souls has become more prevalent, and added to how people approach defense in the meta, Uzzah has been on the decline.

However, he's usually good for a block at some point in a game, particularly if you have artifacts that are going to be more situational.  For instance, if you include Three Nails in your deck, an Uzzah may not be a bad idea for when you don't hit demons.

I have 4 artifacts. Some of them are situational. But I don't run into evil character negation. Also side note. Is there really an easy way to get him back?

The only thing I can think of off hand is if you use Torment (Heal any Evil Character that is being discarded, except by a dominant.). You would have to hold out until you have it and have another Evil Character to play it on.

Actually, heal cards can be played on a character that was discarded in the same turn, even though they are in discard pile.

Thanks for the correction. I have not played heal cards in a long time.

Do you have that card Hunter? I do not think I have a double but I can check. If I have one its yours! ;)
