Would like suggestions. I usually forget something when making new decks, especially with new cards. I just made it today after putting away my new cards, so I haven't played any games with it yet. Should it stay around 50ish cards? Or bump up to 56-57?

Too bad Sanhedrin doesn't have numbers otherwise you could get name-on-name with The Sanhedrin. :P

I was gonna ask if clay Peter was really that much better than purple Peter, and then I checked the wiki to refresh what his ability is, and realized that was a silly question.

No AoCP?

AoCP or Preaching at Pentecost. Preaching is better vs Herod's Temple, Phillies, and for Toss. AoCP would be in here if High Priests' Palace was also. What would you suggest for the deck?

Holy Spirit
Reach of desperation
Foolish Advice
Chorazin

Add in
James son of Alpheus
My Lord and My God
Another DoM perhaps strife as crazy as it sounds maybe Grapes (I'm scared of mayhem right now till I see how much Nicanor is getting played)
High Priests Plot
Nazareth
JMM is a modern day prophet

I will switch Reach for MLaMG. I was thinking of switching Coming of the Spirit for Gamaliel's Speech (which probably should be in here anyway), but I would like to keep the Holy Spirit in case Peace or Joy is discarded, and Preaching only converts with the Holy Spirit. Sanhedrin is basically in there for Herod's Temple fodder as Ananias can get it back every turn. Protection from Holy Grail with Chorazin seems more needed to me than Naz, since I see a lot of Holy Grails. I am curious about your other choices though; why James, and why cut the only evil negate?

Didn't realize preaching only triggered with Holy Spirit.

Personally you aren't search a lot so Naz seems like a must to me but knowing your play area is more important at this point then prepping for nats lol.

Gamaliel's Speech is one that slipped my mind definitely play it.

Foolish advice is not great against top offenses in my opinion, too much CBN. HPP or JiP both seem like better options to me.

James, SoA is great for initiative, plus the negate and band to Thad is super good.

When building a disciples deck my first 4 in tend to be John, Peter, James SoA and Thad

If I was building a traditional Disciples deck, then he would def be in. But I don't really have much to play on him, since I will rely on 17/10 Bart, 15/8 Thad, or 12/5 John tossing most of the time.

HP Plot was in when I first put the deck together as a 57 card deck. Since I will add the speech as a negate, I will switch Foolish Advice for HP Plot and see how that works.

Even at this year's Nats I didn't see any Naz (except for 1) or find myself wanting one (though I was playing a 154 card AngelGates deck). The protect from Mayhem is nice, but right now Hezzy's Ring would probably go in before Naz if I had trouble with searching.
