First off, I love this thread and how FBTNB won nats.
Secondly, I'd like to bump this for speculation and documentation of the meta with the release of I/J and Tin XXVI. I'd also like to document all significant variants as separate decks. I'm also going to change it slightly so it's complete decks, not individual offenses/defenses.
Personally, I think various forms of TGT and The Deck will be really popular, but I also think we'll see some balanced decks start to rise to solid competition. I'll work on my actual list later, but suffice it to say I think TGT will rise to the top with Purple/Teal as a base.

TGT/Ruth is terrible. TERRIBLE. I don't know why RDT ever even suggested it on stream.

I thought someone made it work. Guess I'm not alone.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that the promos we tested aren't able to be printed this year. One of them would have made Ruth a playable theme all by itself (though probably mixed with something). If He is Risen had only said White female Heroes...
-
Bummer. That's why Gabe's posted playtest deck included cards not printed - which I imagined were all promos...
I guess that means the new printer does not do 60 card sheets? 55 card sheets I guess?

The new printer maxes out at 110 card sheets. I don't know all the in/outs of their smaller sizes. Whether or not we will see new promos is still open ended. Rob has mentioned looking into other "on demand" printing options to still produce the promos. I have no idea on the time frame for that or whether or not it will happen.

Good to know - thanks for the heads up. I wonder what will happen with Rob's stock of tournament winner promos. Maybe we will see another card used as a "winner" promo...
