Hey friends,
Here is a deck that I could use some opinions on. I had this idea from Gabe using GWT/TLGBY combo to start a side battle with ECs off TlGBY and then dc GWT to keep all but one EC in battle....keeping g side battle EC in. Its like a good version of Rehoboam/Strife combo. Its at 53 but I don't know what else to cut. Could use some help. Thanks!

Without having played the deck or seen it being played, I would probably cut 1 Hero (10 main deck Heroes should be enough) and probably Idol Worship to get it down to 51 and go from there.

Daughter’s Grief is really good post rotation. CBN battle winners are tough to come by and it can be leveraged for both your offense and defense.

Brother’s Conflict is another side battle card that fits into your offense but also works on a couple of your EC.

What is delivered doing in here? Delivered can only be played on one EC by my estimation.

I also wanted to suggest Brother's Conflict since TLGBY is great in itself since it can be played on a musician or royalty (Esther - hint, hint ;D) and then DCs the 2 ECs that went into side battle afterwards.

Virgin Birth and Love Righteousness both feel like absolute staples in white. I don't love Temple Dedication without more Musicians. You probably have enough targets to main deck Covenant with David.

Ok original deck updated with the changes shown: took out Rahab to get down to 10 heroes. Cut Idol Worship. Moved C. W/ David to main deck and replaced it with Love Righteousness in Reserve. Cut Temple Ded. for Virgin Birth. Cut Solomon's Dream for Brother's Conflict. Cut CM for Strife to use combo with B. Conflict.

I cut Dream because I can only use once to get a good card. I figured a worthy Rehoboam/Strife like combo in Brother's Conflict/Strife would be a better choice. I'm not sure if cutting CM for Strife was best as its an auto block with a sole rescuer. However, if Forsaken gets negated and heroes band into battle martyr won't work so well. So i figured if I added Conflict I would need Strife to deny my opponent SI so I can play Strife and leave one Hero in side battle for the block.

What do you all think? I'm still at 52 though. Not sure what else to cut.

Daughter's Grief is a great card, but it's conditonal to opponent blocking with a female for the CBN status. If anything it could go in Reserve.

In my white builds I also often use Consider the Lilies (well Classic only), Love Righteousness and Reverence and Awe for Forts, Cities and Sites + sometimes DCing a SoG while 2nd Coming was not yet played by opponent. Also I switched from Overccome! to Word of Their Testimony for the big bad orange guys.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this doesn't work like a good version of Rehoboam/Strife, because TGWT "forces opponent to withdraw", which means they choose the EC that remains, not you. You can use the combo to short out the side battle to get to TLGBY's banish and discard quicker, which can help defeat a lone blocker, which you can achieve with a previous use of TGWT.

That issue is specific to wording similar to TGWT - Seventh Seal would work as expected, except it only withdraws non-humans.

Grapes probably goes in either the DoN or Strife spot if you're using Bro's Conflict. I can be good if you're behind and is basically exactly the side battle+Strife combo but for your offense and it discards and shuffles rather than withdrawing.

I like this! However, I don't have the new Grapes promo to keep this post rotation. If i do grapes, it will be classic...lol.

Well, if you're just planning to test the deck for now, you'd probably be able to get a LR one from GoC when that comes out, but yeah, if you plan to use it in a tourney before then that makes sense.
