This deck is currently at 54. I brought it down from 57, but because it was initially built at 57, there isn't much more I could take out without compromising some of the plays I really like about the deck.
The main point of this deck is to leverage an already strong rescue with Noah, the Righteous early and then make that rescue stronger throughout the game by layering negates and protection on him. Mary is a great blanket protect provided you don't control a good enhancement, which I try to avoid by using The Throne of Grace. Shem and Enoch provided added protection as well. What that looks like is Noah preventing cards, your opponent using their limited options and you being able to pitch a mono good enhancement off TToG to negate their cards. TToG plays to set aside so it is beyond the reach of the opponent's Woes. The deck has tons of dual alignment and single brigade good enhancements that do their ability as written or become fodder for TToG to always be able to win the war of negates with your opponent. Adding versatility to those mono brigade enhancements by letting them also be negates of Throne of Grace makes this deck pretty flexible on what it can do offensively.
The dual alignment cards extend to the defense adding more versatility there. Leviathan is always good, but now you really don't want him turn one as the Fire From Heaven play doesn't work with limited reserve access. So we answer this by having some other blocking options that work well early, but also having some negates in the deck we may can access if we find ourselves with a turn 1 Behemoth. Esau playing a quick seized by Babylon with some negates to back it up is solid. Or establishing a Stubborn Heifer in territory and blocking with Fiery serpents to withdraw and paralyze all creating Special Initiative and being able to pitch a card for a CBN negate from Heifer. The deck also contains Serpent's Curse for a solid block with The Serpent.
The deck has tons of resources that it tries to establish quickly and apply pressure while having ways to manipulate the battle in your favor. Solomon's Temple allows for an extra location to activate your Book of the Covenant or Book of the Law, while providing a place to hold an active Idol if you get your Corrupted Temple on it. Corrupted Temple can be searched with Wages due to its optional discard ability if your opponent wants to give up a Dominant to stop you. The Idols the deck has are Golden Calf because getting this down before they use their TC setup cards can be a deciding factor in the early game. The other is Image of the Beast which deals with a plethora of things the opponent may place down to hinder your strategies. This card can answer Storehouse and Ark of Salvation without costing you a Dom slot. Ark of Salvation can hold your Covenant with Noah or Covenant with Philistia in set aside providing you with massive advantage by taking an animal that can be a blocker or a TToG pitch and giving you a D2. It being located in set aside keeps it from your opponents' Woes and Chronicles.
This deck is still in the early stages and hasn't seen any live game action, just simulation games I have done with it. I don't know how good it is overall, but I know the strategy behind it is solid, at least Pre-GoC. Let me know what you guys think.
