I made a type 2 post for this topic as that's my field of expertise, but type 1 is not my forte. From what I have seen, Nationals will have numerous deck types, but the dominant archetypes will be: Throne, BoM, Revelation Angels, Martyrs, Musicians, some clay splashes, hybrid offenses out of what I just listed. Children of Light offenses seem to be picking up speed last minute, but people might shy away because the nature of the deck/play style. It's a very advanced deck and if those places enhs are not out, then people can be afraid to rescue if CoL isn't fully protected.
Plenty of white to go around, that's for sure.
Defenses will be splash, Pharisees, demons, maybe some small crimson or Philistines. Possibly the brown/white deck that's had a lot of success this year will see different people experiment with their takes on it.
Any deck that's consistently fast, balanced and has not only the best reserve access, but best reserve, will have the advantage.
Not sure what other offenses and defenses will make the competitve play, but plenty of fun decks will be there. Did I miss anything, leave any strong types out? Any surprise decks out there?
