And if I were to add 6 more cards, maybe .....

Mephibosheth (purple hero)
Prosperity (purple hero enhancement)
Falling Away (Evil Dominant)
Grapes of Wrath (Good Dominant)
Image of Jealousy (TxP brown evil enhancement)
Unholy Writ (Artifact)

Which deck would be better, 50 or 56 cards?

Modified.  Changed entire defense to sites and evil dominants, but kept at 50 cards.  I know it is risky, but hopefully it is fast enough to beat most decks.

I had Hormah in it when I had ECs, but now there would be no point.

Lol, right. I forgot about that clause since I am so used to ECs. I'd add Malchus, Nebushadan, and Hormah then. Nebushadan will usually be able to get a block, even if it is in the future when they simply don't attack you due to lack of access, and Malchus is another soul to rescue. He's a nice combo with TAS too. Hormah is then a personal preference; if you don't mind having another site color for 3 ECs, it's worth it. I could see it goign either way on whether or not to include it.

If you do end up goign defenseless, I'd add 2-3 heroes. 9 isn't enough in my expirience. You need to be getting at least 2 heroes in your opening draw in order for this to work effectively, and proabbly even 3 for the best results.

Well how about adding COTH, Claudia, Simeon, Jacob, Tribal Elder and Brass Serpent promo?  That would take it to 56 cards with another way to rescue lost souls.  (It would also make it a virtual clone of 3/4 of other tournament decks these days, but oh well)

You don't want to go to 56 unless you want to add defense. If you stay defenseless, you need to stay at 50 cards to give yourself the best chances to win.
