I really like this deck and I'm wondering if it needs any more support cards,
currently it only has six, three forts 1 good 2 evil and 3 curses.
And I've found Rachel+Jacob+Captain with Wheel within a wheel on him to be very useful

No Seven Years of Plenty? o_O

If you want to focus on Syrians, I would pull False Priests for Winged Leopard (protected by fort, possible 3 EC band).
If you want more affective plays/kills, I would exchange King Cushan-Rishathaim for Shadow and exchange Syrian Victory for Snare or Demonic Snare.
Shadow is quite under-rated. A Joseph before Pharaoh, as an example, couldn't negate his play ability, nor could it target him (demon), so it would have to negate the snare. Sure Samuel's Edict kills him... and 75% of all blocks. Don't block a Sam/Judge with Shadow, lol.
Lying Spirit is another option for that slot, especially if you had Shadow or Leopard in: Twice Afflicted (play on demon) gets your CBN Balaam's Disobedience back (or gets another play off False Peace). Lying spirit can also steal an opponents auto block FTW.

Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Orange/Black • Ability: 9 / 10 • Class: None • Special Ability: Discard a Persian. Immune to white brigade. May band to a Greek. • Identifiers: OT Male Beast (Demon), Greece • Verse: Daniel 7:6
What does The Winged Leopard have to do with Syrians?
And I'll put shadow in instead of King Cushan-Rishathaim, And Snare for Syrian Victory
But I don't know if I want to take out False Priests because Deadly Snare is CbI if played on him.
-
Perhaps he meant Shobach.
-
Captain negates all the good parts about Wheel?
-
Sorry forgot Wheel didn't work. ::)
Shobach would be useful Considering most battle winners only kill one evil character and the archer kills himself and can only be used once (if I use his sniper ability)
I'm wondering if this character might be useful in multi.
Antiochus IV Epiphanes (RA)
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Black/Gray • Ability: 11 / 10 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: If another Greek Evil Character is in play, discard a Hero. Opponent may discard a card of matching brigade from hand or territory instead. Cannot be negated. • Identifiers: Male Human, King (Greece->Syria<), Royalty, Fought Earthly Battle • Verse: Josephus (OT)
Him with another Greek (probably the Winged Leopard :P) could be a big band,
And Antiochus IV Epiphanes is a Syrian. ;)

May I ask why Abel and creation of the world? I would trade them for #stone Stone Pillar at Bethel Seven Years of Plenty or even Seraphim [Band to Blue]
KingLeo 8)
-
Abel [Priests] is there to play Creation of the World to get all his heros.
-
I thought Wheel worked on Captain? I use it in my gen deck as well. I was told it was ok to use that with him at the last tourney i was at.
-
Captain negates all the good parts about Wheel?
It's a placed card. Placed cards are CBN by game rule.
-
So it works then?
-
So it works then?
It will if it is used outside of battle
-
If wheel was placed outside of battle it works. Disregard anyone who says otherwise.
Reason I say it works? Placed enhancements are CBN the phase after they are played. This ruling was decided when abom was in the peak of it's popularity.
-
Don't listen to RED. The "place" part of a place ability is CBN after the phase, but everything following the colon is is fully negatable unless it was CBN when played.
-
What? I've never seen a ruling stating that. NEVER. All rulings I've EVER seen say that the whole thing is CBN. I could SWEAR I saw something stating placed cards are 100% CBN. And tbh that's the way it should be.
-
Nonetheless, that's how it is. There have been numerous references to it all over the board ever since place cards came out, as well as the fact that it's the official rule.
-
I've found Abel to be really useful to play Creation of the World and Wheel Within a Wheel.
I probably wouldn't use Shobach because when I use Syrian Archer's Snipe ability he will be useless.
I do want to add stone pillar at bethel but I don't know what to take out for it.(NOT ABEL) ;D
-
If this is to be a multiplayer deck, you'll need Grapes and Mayhem. You probably will never use DoN or Burial (seeing as how 2 out of 4 decks in multiplayer last tourney had Lampy up most of the 1st game and all of the 2nd). WWW can go for Stone Pillar. Tyypo on False Peace. ;)
-
Far too much defense for mp.

Thanks just fixed it.

The "place" ability has always been CBN in the phase after placement, but the ability doesn't become CBN just because it's on a placed card. That has always been the rule.
If Abom has been sitting in a territory for 2 turns, it can be negated for one phase by Covenant with Noah, but the placement cannot be negated, so Abom stays in the territory.
-
negated for one phase... ah that's what I remember... blast it my memory can be bad when I try to remember two year old rulings.....
