Quote
Maximum of 1 of each per 50 cards in a deck:
•      Card that has a special ability (text over the picture).  Example: A fifty-six (56) card deck may contain only one Authority of Christ, one Repentance, etc. A one-hundred (100) card deck may contain no more than two Authority of Christ, two Repentance cards, etc. A one-hundred fifty (150) card deck may contain no more than three of any individual special ability card.
Maximum of 3 of each in a deck:
•      Single-colored Heroes, Evil Characters and enhance ments that do not have a special ability.
Looks to me like you should be able to have one 12/6 Samson and either two or three 6/6 Samsons in the same deck.  I'm not sure, but it looks like that would be within the rules.

Why do you like negates so much here? Battlewinners would seem to be more useful.

What do you do if your opponent plays Journey to Egypt? To help guard against this I would swap out

I would probably also swap out a second evil character in favor of Jannes, to help ensure you get PTR early. Otherwise you'll might face trouble if your opponent plays either Miriam or Jochabed.

I admit I tend to be overly paranoid about single cards that destroy my entire defense.

Yeah. I havent seen anyone play any of those in awhile. Surprisingly. Jannes/Jambres would both be put in if I add Jannes probably. I'm going to wait on that. Unknown Nation is probably a good idea.

Apparently I'm the only person in the whole Redemption universe that plays Journey to Egypt on any kind of regular basis. Miriam, however, has become somewhat more popular recently as a female green-brigade prophet.

Because 6/6 gives init semi easily.

I play it too MJB, but I don't consider myself a good showing of what Redemptia will play.

I see your point RR, but I haven't had a problem with that yet, so I'll wait before I change anything like that.

I have never once seen Journey to Egypt in all my time playing Redemption in real life and online, but I have seen several Miriams recently.  :dunno:

Blue decks usually have journeys they are annoying

He does have Banks of the Nile that will eventually help take care of the ignore, but isn't there a Lost Soul from RoA that stops the ignore, too?

Confusion of Mind and Golden Calf can also take care of the ignore.

JTE is CBN which means nothing will stop it.

Oops! Forgot about that tiny detail.

Then I guess he will have to hope the Huge Egyptian or his spear finds it first....  ;)

And that his opponent doesn't have one of 87 blue cards* that let you get Genesis enhancements out of the discard pile. ;)

*Slight exaggeration here.

Haha, my Blue deck doesn't (and never has) have Journey to Egypt. ;)

Haha, touché. However, since my Blue deck is defended by Egyptians (plus Elah and KoT), I'd be a little worried about people banding to my Journey'd hero to ignore my defense. Maybe I'm just weird. :P
