Starting out

Hey, what should I get to start out on the right foot? At the moment I have g/h starters and at least one of all the normal boosters. What should I get in the way of tins, and which boosters should I focus on?
ANB is good. Change my mind.

Tin 19 (TGT) works really well off of the Purple/White starter tins.

It depends on what you want to play in your deck

G/H starter deck with Rock of Ages Tin XIX is great. Focus primarily on Disciples and TexP for boosters. Priests is okay too.

I would play a bunch online and see which cards you're actually going to want to use. That way you don't waste money on cards you're not going to play with.

Things to keep in mind: keep the deck at 56 cards or less. Don't use more than four brigades per deck (two good, two evil). Post your deck on the boards and see what people think you should add, and then get those cards individually from the market. You also might want to wait until after the National tournament to spend a lot of money because there might be something new that will help a lot.

It'll take you that much longer to find your SoG/NJ etc.  The smaller your deck is, the faster it is.  Some top tier players swear by 50 card decks.

Unless you're playing a turtle, which is designed to stall and be a general nuisance to all offenses.

Top players don't play turtle decks.
