Smaller decks are much better to use. And because you have 7 lost souls you could son of God and new jeruselem. Then your down to five lost souls in your deck. Then you play burial. Then your down to four lost souls. Now you activate Altar of Ahaz. Now your opponents will have no lost souls for your opponent to rescue.

I agree, smaller decks are best.  However, you are forgetting something.  Just as you can play Son of God and New Jerusalem on your own lost souls, your opponent can too.  So he/she only really needs to rescue 3 of the 4 lost souls you would have available.

WOW! That is a good point. I have never built a deck with those same cards, but I have built a deck close to that And it worked. But thanks for that post.
