I don't see the draw in Ehud's Dagger. It's pretty limited.

Garden Tomb is what the site lockout is for.

And if they don't have a King, it's a wasted card slot.

That's basically what the idea behind this deck is: nothing is wasted. Kereth Ravine is both an easy way to place Enhancements from Discard and a way to Protect a Hero from my own Wrath (or Centurion from RDJ). All of my Sites except the one extra Babylon are both for sitelock and their own abilities (stopping CTB, letting my Philistines play Grey, protecting me from AoCP). The Artifacts are all generally useful in addition to serving their specific purpose in this deck (I switched CoF for MH). The list goes on. Basically, nothing in this deck is ever wasted.

Who plays with Enhancements that can be Negated? And before you say anything, Wrath is mostly meant to be played in a side-battle.

the centurion cannot go into kerith ravine.

Oh dear, never noticed that before. Doesn't matter, though, I can stand losing one Hero to play that card.

what about stronghold in the desert or the new goshen? would those maybe work better?
Title: Re: Sitelock/Judges

Neither of those are set-aside (or if Goshen is, it still doesn't work). Jahaziel needs someone set aside to do his magic.

ah, i see. what kind of abuse do you do with jahaziel and his special ability?

It's very situational. Last game, I used it to put Sword against Sword on someone over and over. I also put Battle Cry on someone, and a CBN Samson's Sacrifice is always nice.

According to the thread regarding Samson's Sacrifice, here (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/index.php?topic=17521.0), SS already CBN ;)

According to that, SS cannot be interrupted.

And I think I should have said "unstoppable" instead of "CBN." There's literally no way you can stop it from hitting you unless you Martyr my Hero in between the time it takes me to get him out of Ravine and when I put him in battle. Unless you play Unsuccessful as an Art ;)

1) why do you have a guy who gives access to all sites in your site-lock deck and no WOP to stop others from abusing him?

2) Why do you have capture in a site-lock deck?

3) Why have Judges seat when only one hero would be of use in it (while the other two are too high to do much damage)?

3b) Why also have it when it will be nuked by RDJ?

4) Why do you not have one site per LS (BBH is not always a guarantee)?

5) Why a multi-color site?

1. Because I have 12FG.

2. Because when I use it, it's either because my defense is set up to where I won't be letting them through anyway, or it's endgame and I'm using it to walk in by sniping 3 EC's per turn.

3. The only things my offense is weak against is KoT and PotW. Judges Seat takes care of that, and it scares people into keeping EC's in their hand and playing other cards they maybe shouldn't.

3b. I've never missed it when I nuked it and never nuked it when I needed it.

4. Because I also have SoG, NJ and Burial. This is also why I can afford Capture.

5. To use the site-guard LS on, or in case I run into another Sitelock.

The Color Guard only works in a single color site, additionally I wouldn't worry about another site-lock as you can use your site-stealer's to nab a site and gain access using it.

Until they steal it back...  ::)

Site guard, not color guard.
Title: Re: Sitelock/Judges

i agree, capturing might not be a good idea for a site deck.
Title: Re: Sitelock/Judges

I have ONE capture enhancement that's only used to 1. get me a soul or 2. snipe the last of the EC's endgame to get me all the souls I need. Offensive capture is more justifiable than defensive.

I'm not sure what you would take out, but I'm a big fan of Bringing Fear. One thing to not forget about sitelock is you need some ways to deal with Site access characters.

1. Because I have 12FG.

Relying on one EC to stop people abusing you own hero is not always a wise thing.

2. Because when I use it, it's either because my defense is set up to where I won't be letting them through anyway, or it's endgame and I'm using it to walk in by sniping 3 EC's per turn.

However, it's not always a garuntee that you will get all the cards needed to help against having more LS in your territory

True

4. Because I also have SoG, NJ and Burial. This is also why I can afford Capture.

but you will not always have them when needed (especially if you draw more LS than sites at first)

5. To use the site-guard LS on, or in case I run into another Sitelock.

Another site lock deck would laugh at your one access site and one hero.

complainers is the best weapon against heros with innate site access.

I don't see the draw in Ehud's Dagger. It's pretty limited.

Garden Tomb is what the site lockout is for.

Also realize that there are other ways of destroying a multi-color defense with not much effort (one of my decks is built around it).

I think everyone is getting way confused. They see "Sitelock" and think "his whole defense relies on Sites." That's simply not the case. Other than the Sites, only two cards in here are devoted to Sitelock. The Defense can stand on its own merits.
