Site lockout still a thing?

Is site lockout still a useful strategy? If so what good brigades are used less?

I have been testing something out that has worked against my other decks but those decks currently don’t have too many ways to access sites.

There is almost virtually no site lockout. Removing souls from the table and intentional soul drought are more common. Most players won’t use up the card slots to put in more than 2-3 sites in a deck. There’s also the Ends of the Earth multi colored site from Revelation of John that is used to access all sites. And many players include cards that generate lost souls for their opponent, as a means to rescue if there are none available (by site lock or drought) using Majestic Heavens, the various characters that capture themselves to opposite’s land of bondage from Fall of Man and Lineage of Christ sets. To summarize, avoid inserting multiple sites in attempt to site lock. But for reference, teal and clay are probably the two least good brigades used. Silver isn’t hugely popular either. Hope this helps!

Joshua the Conqueror has ended sitelock as even a fringe strategy. Within popular offenses, some have infinite site access, such as Flood Survivors getting site access on account of Ham's territory class ability.

Joshua would also help Site Lock decks though because you can underdeck your own Site which also underdecks the LS in it, right?

6 Babylon + Babylonian Banquet Hall, under deck BBH with Joshua to underdeck all of your LSs?
May you prosper greatly!

IMO LSs would stay in play. But this should be judged in the rulings section.

Reth is correct. Sours in Sites is one of the exceptions to cards following.

I just found it in the Reg
Quote
If a card is placed on another card and the underlying card is relocated, the placed card is generally relocated
(regardless of protect effects) to the same location that the underlying card is relocated and remains there. The
exceptions to this rule are:
1 Lost Souls that are placed in Sites are always returned to the general Land of Bondage and do not
follow the underlying Sites when the Sites are relocated.
May you prosper greatly!
