Thanks for your help, everyone!

I'm now converting this deck to a Type II deck, so I decided to make a simple speed deck :).

Caleb=Fail. Coat of mail has been explain to you 4 or 5 times now. Coat of mail makes these decks pack a big punch. They kill weapons which allows throne to play first.

The Amalekites' Slave out for potiphar's wife.

Burial Out for I am truth

I'll most likely switch out The Amalekites' Slave for Portiphar's Wife. As for I am Truth, wouldn't Unknown Nation be a little better to swap out than Burial?

I'd sooner have Oppressed and Robbed than Unknown Nation also ;)

Don't get rid of Unknown Nation and TAS. You should really get an Egyptian King or Pharaoh for Pharaoh's Throne Room (probably King Shishak); trust me - it's worth it! The offense looks okay to me, except I would get rid of Esther for Mephibosheth. (Yes, I know why Esther is there, but I still don't think it's necessary.) You need an initiative character. Finally, one more site access would be a good idea; I was surprised to see that you didn't have Priestly Crown.
Use the Mad Bomber to rescue his Province.

1 - I replaced King Shishak with Egyptian Horseman ;). Also, King Hiram might be able to search for it (IDK, too lazy to check what testament Pharoh's Throne Room is)
2 - .... If I get rid of Esther, I should get rid of King Lemeul. It is BEYOND useful. (RA with King Lemeul, chariots of fire is up. Use his ability so I can replace a hero in my hand with a battle winner, TToD lets me then draw x cards and play my battle winner. Shuffle my Hero back in. What isn't there to love?!)
3 - TToD gives fair iniative.
4 - I find Dragon Raid is fine. Pergamum doesn't scare me, I'm purple!

I'd say that you have a solid deck and don't really need to change much. Evil Spirit should definitely be the Kings version, as it cannot be negated (nice for KoT as well as everyone else). I would switch out Oppressed and Robbed for Spreading Mildew (I love Given Over to Egypt, and you can't have both up at the same time), but that's totally preference and play-style.

I'd switch horsemen out for King Shishak, Same ability mostly with a JT negate (In case O+R hasnt come up) + He stops miriam which is needed.
I agree E spirit (K) is better, as is S mildew.

Oh yes, the Anti-Ignore LS is essential for an Egyptian defense.

I don't think you understand: the King/Pharaoh is for preventing ignore abilities, not searching for PTR. I mean, what would you do if someone made a RA with Miriam?

No, you have King's Daughter, which is all you need, at least in my experience (and I have played Purple decks a lot).

If your counting on TToD for "initiative" you need to think of all the things that could go wrong, including not drawing it quick enough.

What if someone puts the Female or NT lost soul in the site, and King's Daughter and/or ET are gone? - *dead* My rule, if you care, is to always put in at least three accesses (in this case DR, Priestly Crown, and the minor King's Daughter).

Argh. When I was looking up the card affects I got the wrong one  ::)... I had him in originally, but when I was looking this deck over I got him confused with Jannes so I took him out.

After playing this deck a few games, I find it much more effective with both.

I'm not counting on it, it is just helpful. I don't feel that I need a small character.

Again, I haven't had trouble with site access. Dragon raid seems to be sufficient and I have Chariots of Fire to bring back my 2 female heroes and my 1 NT hero.

As for changes, I'm replacing Opressed and Robbed with Spreading Mildew, getting the other Evil Spirit, and added King Shishak (again)

not true. Miriam really isn't that hard to get around with Pharoah's Throne Room, and that one blue one kills everything. Garden Tomb has nothing on this defense.

I'm not really scared of Journey to Egypt. If by some off chance someone does use it I can still block With Pot's Wife or King of Tyrus. If I play someone with Journey to Egypt I MIGHT add in 1 more non-egyptian.

Pot's Wife is egyptian...so journey to egypt will own her too.
and there are ways to get around KoT....

RR is right:  Journey to Egypt will be your achilles heel.  Discarding is no good too since it can be recurred numerous times.

Take it from someone who abuses gold ;) Journey to egypt is scary. I would suggest adding in panic demon gold and either king elah or Evil spawn gold.

I agree that a couple non-Egyptians are a good idea, King Elah being one of the top choices.

Color Guard LS + the right color Site was never ruled to allow an ignored character to enter battle.  I agree that it would be nice to have another tool against pre-battle ignore abilities.  When you raised the question, the REG quotes seemed to indicate that it doesn't work.  Two playtesters spoke up, Justin said it doesn't work, Schaef said he could see it go either way.  That's where the discussion ended.  Until it officially given the "green light" I wouldn't allow it at any of my tournaments.

See this thread for reference

good luck doing that. if you have both and gathering in your deck, and you get it up, congrats, you win. That's IF I don't discard one of the former 3 cards off your deck.
