OUT:
Zaccheus (he has no backup; you might get your fort out, but you'll lose the ra)
Angel of the Harvest (this deck should focus more on destroying their defense, not deck discard; as it stands you only have two deck d/c cards in the deck)
Help From Heaven (there are several better silver enhancements out there)
Might of Angels (NT evil characters aren't as prevalent, replace with Protection of Angels)
Three Angels (this doesn't work in conjunction with Captain/TSA since its CBN only applies to artifacts)
Army of the Lord (Captain is usually okay by himself, and Israelite Archer is a better way to give him bigger numbers through banding)
Victory (out for Three Nails, since you can use it more than once)
Captain of the Temple Guard (you have too many ECs and not enough EEs, and his special ability only works with a Jerusalem or Herod's Temple site, which you don't have)
King Jehoahaz (if you want low numbers, you have four Sadducees; he's an unneeded character)
Lot's Wife (another extra evil character who isn't a sadducee)
Malchus (he fits well with your defense, but you have to lose the battle to have him become their LS, and you shouldn't be losing battles)
Net (without Captain of the Temple Guard, I'm not sure you want too much capture)
*4 LS (you have High Priest's Maid; I'm not sure why there's no NT-only LS in here...)

IN:
The Destroyer (a much better choice than Angel of the Harvest for this deck; killing pesky CBN characters with Horses enhancements on them is really helpful; can be searched for by Angel at Shur)
Israelite Archer (can band to Captain for more numbers or Angel of God to use his discard ability infinitely; can be searched for by Angel at Shur)
Angel of God (protection from capture is usually useful, and protecting Israelite Archer from its own discard ability is great; can be searched for by Angel at Shur)
Spiritual Warfare (good battlewinner, more useful than Help From Heaven)
Protection of Angels (same as above)
Three Nails (in for Victory)
High Priest's Palace (I tried running defenses without defense forts for a long time, and I found that I was often sorry for it)
Just a Hireling (awesome card for a Sadducee defense)
Denying Blame (interrupt and redirect? yes please)
Pride of Simon (recurring black enhancements is amazing; Wrath of Satan twice? yes please)
Foolish Advice (you have a lot of large characters, and a FBN card is helpful for them)
NT Lost Soul (in for *4)
Unknown Nation (search your deck for that EC you need really bad, or insurance against Angel of the Lord; awesome card)

...phew.

no way, man! Keep three angels. You go in with Michael, you play swift being + three angels to band in captain and tsa and it wins just about every time.

True, but I switched it out for the Israelite Archer/Angel of God combo. Win a battle or endlessly discard ECs without anyone doing much about it? :)

Only warrior-class EC's, actually, but it's still pretty useful, and as you said, he's also good with Captain.

Personally, I would never get rid of Lot's Wife; keep in mind that she can band to any of your opponent's EC's also.

I wouldn't take out Three Angels either.

I think you need a Covenant of Eden to go with High Priest's Maid and Destroyer (if you decide to add it).

I don't know about anyone else, but Denying Blame hasn't served me well in the past. Devourer is a much better option, especially since you lack initiative, and your opponent may use more than one enhancement to get rid of all of you.

Finally, you know what would go great with those high priests? - A little U&T, maybe.

nope just "high priest", so caiphas, ananias and annas all work. It's pretty great.

If you play it right, it forces them to play a negate or die. Normally I'd have both Devourer and Denying Blame in a black deck, but if you have to pick one I would choose the card that can function as a negate and a battlestopper.

What I'm saying is that with a big banding chain, your opponent may pick you off one at a time, and then DB can only redirect one card. Devourer interrupts the battle, gets rid of everything, and may boost your numbers if you're in any danger of your opponent being higher.

Okay, first ra. They play jael's nail. You play denying blame. You can either leave it or redirect it and choose to discard an evil character which will still be ours. A suprising amount of cards, when redirected, still do the same, and there's no option, it's redirect or nothing. This has happened many times to me. So +1 with Bubbleboy.
