He tosses a lost soul into Perg. GG.

Anyways The defense is made to stall, not lock.

I agree. The thread title is a bit confusing though...

Personally, I think seven sites is too many since you're not planning on locking anyone out (you have no way to permanently get rid of site access). Especially since you can put multiple souls in BBH. I would take out 2  Babylons, and put in Mayhem and Harvest Time. With this deck, it is absolutely crucial that you can attack every time, and that means you need LS's available. Mayhem and Harvest time are good ways to do that.

Correct.  Wastelands and Vengeance are for site shuffling/removal.  Captured Ark/DON are for Artifact shuffling/removal.  Confusion of Mind/Golden Calf/Satan's Seat are for "access to any site" removal.  Uzzah is a stall and Sabbath Breaker is simply to draw cards.  Like I said, its risky, but being only 50 cards and having some card drawing potential, its hoping that I can rescue 5 before my opponent.

The question is, is it TOO risky, or might it work?

DON and Vengeance are pretty permanent.  I agree that Harvest Time is a nice addition, but Mayhem is risky because I could be forced to draw a lot of lost souls that I can't protect.

exactly. mayhem doesnt go into site decks.

But the fact that you get to choose when to use Mayhem could help with the exact opposite problem...if you already have unprotected LS's with no sites to put them in, Mayhem could be helpful to get sites. Also. since your offense is speed, I would say that the possibility of you having LS's available to rescue outweighs the risk of you having available LS's for your opponent.

its a very unorthodox deck to begin with...speed doesnt exactly go with sites...one plays fast while the other favors slow...its a tough choice to make. the fact he will have to use it on his turn takes away from the fullest potential from mayhem, but its still nonetheless the best drawing card in the game. tough call, tough call.

Exactly. If it were your run of the mill site lock deck, I wouldn't use Mayhem. But it's a speed deck where sites are only meant to stall. Mayhem is one way that can either a) help you stall (producing sites) or b) help you not need to stall (producing available LS's). It can be risky, but it's a risk I'd be willing to make.

Would the deck be terribly harmed if I simply added Harvest Time and Mayhem, rather than take out 2 Babylons?  Also, what about Falling Away?

speed decks are optimal at 50 cards. if you want to add 2 cards, you might as well just go 56...never go anything in between.

Isn't 51 okay if you use hopper?

I've heard several people argue that a 51 card speed deck is the best way to go, of course that 51st card is Haman's Plot!

I think it's too risky... it will win about 65% of games, imo. The offense is fine, but the speed kills the site-lock.
