i created a deck like this a long time ago: exact same heroes and enhancements except for
visions and search.  Mine is an offensive deck w/nine heroes and a crimson defense.  I'd take out
confusion of mind, though.  it takes up space.  Asherah pole could be a hinderance to you as well;
personally, i'd stay away from it.  Put in, like, ark of the covenant and take out gifts.  Sure, it helps
you draw faster, but it's a little superfluous.  Also take out Harvest time.  Other than that, it looks
gooood.   :police:

I never thought I'd hear someone say to get rid of Confusion of Mind; it has been indescribably useful on so many occasions.
I mainly put in Asherah Pole for my lack of CBN, as you can clearly see.
And as for Gifts of the Magi, I don't see why that's superfluous at all; it goes spectacularly well with Hur, and it's sooooo fun to use. ;)

Actually, yeah.  I know Gifts goes well with Hur.  It isn't extra; i maybe said that cause i don't use it, but used to :P sry.  Same thing w/ confusion of mind
As for captured ark, i have a secret weapon that does something better, but you can only get it at nationalsI maybe prefer Ark of the covenant because it could be detremental to a speed deck and could take out crucial evil characters of any deck, like a nergal or a naaman that gets on your nerves.  i think it's especially useful because green can't kill anything, it just shuffles it in or ignores it.  This way you can actually kill something.

Yeah, hardly anyone uses brown; I mainly built this deck because I wanted to try it out, and prophets seem to go quite well with it. One other thing that I've kind of been considering is to add Pergamum and the Color Guard lost soul, because I have very little protection against AoC.

By the way, if you have any of those secret weapons lying around, I would be willing to trade a PoC for it.

We're talking about split altar.  Specail ability is:
"3/3 shuffle all artifacts of each opponent into opponent's deck.  You may play the next enhancement.  Cannot be negated."
It's an absolute beast in a btn battle and if you have up hidden treasures, you can play that to shuffle in an lampstand, book of the covenant and 2 covenants they have up, then play visions of iddo the seer to get it back.  I've done it before w/ those specific artifacts up and Oooo, he was steamy ;D.  I did it again next turn on an unholy writ he pulled up and he spazzed out .  You can recycle it too with Micah; that's the best part :D  It's like a recyclable captured ark.
By the way, if you have any of those secret weapons lying around, I would be willing to trade a PoC for it.

This is the first year it came out.  i think.   :-\  I wish i had an extra

It's a great card....I've never actually used it but I have played against it, so I know....*shudder*

By the way, a ruling question that I have encountered while playing Split Altar: Does it only shuffle active artifacts, or does it shuffle the entire artifact pile?

Well then, it probably was you....Ha, you would have won that tournament if we hadn't timed out on that game. :D

Man, that made me SOOOOOO mad :( >:( I didn't hurry at all.  If only i'd periodically asked for time, i'd've known to speed up the pace.  Oh well, live and learn :-\

Yeah, at least you can say to yourself that you won; I mean, you beat both the first- and the second-placers.

Only by a draw Martin, only by a draw  ;)
Title: Re: Prophet/Brown Brigade

You know, you can blame a draw as much as you want, but you're the one who made the deck.

Your right, it is was my fault for putting lost souls in the deck  ::)

Only by a draw Martin, only by a draw  ;)

More like the draw, then redraw, then REDRAW again and again from Hur.  And besides, there has to be some skill in a 5-0 win.

Your right it does take skill to walk in for 5 freebies  ::), just remember what happened 30 seconds afterward

There were NO 5 freebies; Hur was part of it  ;D Afterward was 5-3; that's relatively close
