Cut it down why?  Too big for what?  To rescue any lost souls?  "Seriously WAY too big cut it down" does NOTHING to help a new player understand why this is so needed.  Against my other eleven decks, some of which are 56 cards, this deck does just fine.  If you mean "too big for a tournament", then I agree.  But for casual play, so what if I don't get Son of God as fast as my opponent?  That's only one lost soul.

Cut it down why?  Too big for what?

There are plenty of cards, other than SoG, that you will need against various decks. Smaller decks help you get all of your important cards sooner. Against site-lockout, only two of your cards will be useful, so you need to get those cards out of your deck asap.

I am no expert since I have not played in anything higher than a State tournament, but I would think a general rule of thumb would be to keep the number of ECs and Heroes equal, as well as the number of enhancements for each. Mathematically speaking, if you want an equal probability of drawing an EC, Hero, GE, or EE, then you need to have the same amount of each. If you have more of any subgroup, then you are more likely to draw those than the others. Subsequently, you may draw a great defense, but have no offense (or vice versa). Similarly, you may have a handful of enhancements, but no characters.

Your current count:

Heroes: 9
GE: 12
EC: 13
EE: 15

Based on shear probability, you are more likely to draw EEs than anything else, and more likely to have a handful of evil cards than good cards.

Cut it down why?  Too big for what?  To rescue any lost souls?

It is hard to rescue lost souls with a handful of evil cards.  ;D
