Abom/Hand Discard

I think this deck would do much better as T2, but it still looks pretty good here. Please note that I typically do not have trouble with finding cards that I could put in a deck. My trouble is finding things to take out; so giving me a big list of things you want to see in the deck is not a real help unless you counter it with an almost equally long list of things to take out, and/or indicate that you wish for me to make the deck bigger. ::) Anyways, here it is...

56 cards:

The Generous Widow
Martha
Simeon
The Thankful Leper
The Woman at the Well
.Battle Prayer
.Meeting the Messiah
.Repentance and Restitution
.Taking Egypt's Wealth

Angel of the Harvest
Captain of the Host
Gabriel
.Might of Angels (Wa)
.Striking Herod

Ahithophel
Emperor Augustus
Emperor Galba
Emperor Nero
King Menahem
Sabbath Breaker
.Balaam's Disobedience
.Begging for Grain
.Deluge of Rain
.False Peace
.Gold Shield
.Heavy Taxes
.Namaan's Chariot and Horses

Antiochus IV Epiphanes
The Winged Leopard
.Abomination of Desolation

I Am Holy
Unsuccessful
Unknown Nation
Chariot of Fire
Gifts of the Magi
Samaritan Water Jar
Unholy Writ

Chamber of Angels
High Places
Wall of Protection

Hormah

Angel of the Lord
Grapes of Wrath
New Jerusalem
Son of God
Burial
Christian Martyr
Destruction of Nehushtan
Mayhem

Discarder
3-Liner
CBP
Shuffler
Exchanger
Hand Discard
Revealer
Use the Mad Bomber to rescue his Province.

Out: Taking Egypt's Wealth, Might of Angels
In: Convincing Miracle, Gathering of Angels
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Taking Egypt's Wealth? You want that out? But...that card has won me rescues on so many occasions. And besides, it goes perfectly with the hand discard theme. The reason Might of Angels is in there is in case of demons, against which I have no other ammo. I especially wouldn't want to replace it with another conversion card like Convincing Miracle, even if it was CBN. I hardly ever put Gathering in my decks, because it simply takes too long. Also, I already have a good banding combo with Simeon and CotH, so I don't think it's necessary, especially since I'll be wanting to use my angels with I Am Holy and Chamber.

Have you ever attacked with a Gathered Woman at the Well, plucked a big bad, and then banded to The Generous Widow to off him? That's a combo made in heaven.

That does sound pretty fun, but still, Gathering is hardly ever practical since it takes so long and I don't think my defense can hold up for a great while.

Then you need to change your defense. Your offense isn't hitting a home run without A-bomb support, so you need that defense to hold a fair awhile. That offense is probably good for 3 souls (including SoG, NJ, and then a FA on you) in an average game. It seems to me if your defense doesn't hold, your toast.

That's my overall feeling on this deck as well. I think this would likely do much better as T2, as I said before.

I don't understand this... woman at the well places in territory and the generous widow targets hand... how could the generous widow "off him?" She has no way to target him...

you might wanna take something out for rain becomes dust and add rehboam 7/6 crimson dude that makes a side battle and give them an ability that makes them draw a card so u discard cards and blow stuff up in territory

Nice combo, but it doesn't fit in my deck really.

I already have quite a few artifacts, and Taking Egypt's Wealth is something I prefer to use on offense rather than defense.
