Looks like a fun deck to play and play against but there is only one problem: you can only have one Saul/Paul since he is multi-color. Maybe take him out and add Ananias of Damascus or an Evil Fortress killer.

Saul is a 10/11 Grey Evil Character at face value.

I'm pretty sure that the dual colored cards are still limited to 1 per deck in T1, so you can't have 2 Ezekiels.

They are, however, like Pol stated, at face value, Saul is an 10/11 Grey EC.

Except he actually has two Ezekiel's in the deck.

Which makes it no longer a heroless.  :P

Also, you play AoCP off Hidden Treasures, then I drop Assyrian Survivor from hand, what then?

I don't think just 2x AoCP would do the job. I would at least throw in 2x Two Bears.

Using just 2x AocP, you might as well just use ET.

He probably meant Ezekiel's Stick. ::)

I love how the new version of Ezekiel can't even play Ezekiel's stick. so sad.

Then you might get rid of one Paul through discard, but I still have another one. I'll probably add Brass Serpent as well. The main reason for using Paul over ET is Obadiah's Caves. Protection from capture is a biggie.

Completely reworked the defense. Took out Crimson and Zeke and decided to introduce orange and brown. Played one game which went swimmingly. I'm thinking about going for a heavy hand discard approach to the defense for when my opponent decks out. Any advice on how to go about that?

You missed my point. All I have to do is keep two EC's in my hand and you can't win. You don't have any way to interrupt my battle winners, so you're most likely stuck playing AoCP preblock.

Four (2 x two) bears would help you tremendously.

I'll play a couple more games and see how it goes. I'm leaning towards thinking you're right, as it would take fundamentally less cards to do that as opposed to my hand discard idea. We'll see; there are certainly pros for both avenues.

I'm taking out Ends of the Earth, as I just realized that I don't need it since Paul has access to all sites anyways. Is 100 or 105 cards better? One thing I've run into is that in all the games I've played it was several turns after my opponent decked out that I got the cards I needed to start making RAs. Would smaller be better?

Five cards isn't going to make a mountain of difference, but in a 100 card deck where you get 2x all your best cards, I don't think there would be any need for the extra 5.

I'm going to keep it at an even 100 for right now. I might boost it to 150 at some point in the future, depending. I facepalmed so hard yesterday when I realized I forgot the Charms.

I might add a Watchful Servant just for some endgame fun.

How do you deal with protect forts so AOCP kills everything? Also am I missing something or do you have no orange ecs?
