Egyptians are good, but not strong enough to be truely competitive yet imo. However, it has been hinted that egyptians will get a boost in the disciples set. Phillistines, Babylonians and standalone defenses are the most popular defenses I see. Some other defenses include: Greeks w/ abom, Roman Emperors and Sitelock. Just depends on what you want to do.

Egyptians are very strong, you just must learn how to utilize them properly and that requires a large defense. it really is personal preference
