What makes this a speed deck?

Your offense isn't big enough to get 5 souls.  Unless I'm missing something, you only have one battlewinner and no way to get it back (Lemuel only searches for O.T. good cards, and his ability doesn't work unless you have a royal female in play, which you don't use in this deck).  You'll need to beef it up a lot more.

On defense, you've got way too many enhancements.

Also, there is a Philistine site: Ashdod allows your OT Philistines to use enhancements of any color except orange and pale green (which would be great for this deck).

I'd suggest something like this:

Asa's Good Reign - unneeded, plus if your opponent bands to a king with this on it, he'll be immune to pretty much your whole defense.
Dance of Death - you shouldn't need more numbers than you already have
Lahmi's Spear - you shouldn't need more numbers
Idle Gossip
Men as Gods
Ishbibenob's Spear
Gifts of the Magi - no way to take advantage of it
Temple of Dagon - not very useful
Burial Shroud - not needed
Site Doubler LS - not useful with only one site which is what I'm suggesting

Purple Heros:- 5 heroes!?!?! You should be running around 8 or so.

Evil Characters:I love the idea around Ashdod and you r big dudes with negates/big enhs, but you are relying on what site to really get your defense going. I would add more black guys as well and go heavy black, and just use negates for Lahmi/Saph, that way you are not relying too much on one battle winner or one site.

Hey i never play ashdod but talking about the offense -

1)Don't call this a speed deck as you need a powerhouse offense and many drawing cards options to make it one aka - Hur and Gifts, Pentecost, First Fruits, reach and words.

2) You need at least 3 more characters to make it a playable offense.

I really don't know where you're goin with the offense but i do like the defense that gets a thumbs up

It takes a good bit to put together a successful kings deck perhaps you should try a diff offense while you gather cards for this one and test how the defense works

Well I played some one tonight with this deck and the offence did not do much but the deffence held him back to 1 (2 actually but one was from SoG)

what offense was he playing? Also go with whatever you feel works best to test out a new defense then once you have the defense ironed out then toy around with this one.

Ok I updated it and it has been working for me so far but I would like it better.
