Where do I start? ::) You need to find a quicker offense and a new defense. You don't need two access cards in a multiplayer deck. And why don't you have Lampstand, Captured Ark? I like the site idea, but if you're going with the sites I really don't think you need a defense except for maybe Uzzah. (He should go in almost every deck) It's not that bad, but it isn't going to win you many games much less tournaments. If you can keep it to yourself and show no one else I'll pm you my multiplayer deck I was going to play with this year.
-
There should be an "Agree with Daniel Whitten" smiley.
Needs more drawing, less defense, and more Uzzah. And anything else he said... ::)

There is, it's :-*

That is so true. I'm pretty sure he's the only one to ever use that smiley on a regular basis. Isn't that right Daniel? :-*

man you sure given me a challenge lol
take out jericho for gathering of angels
take out both orange for pride of simon and Jip
add in tribal elder, not alone, nj site, sapphira, the warriors beast from the earth, and a sadducee

It's a multi-deck, I don't think Gathering would be of much/any use. I think he should just take out all of the defense. My multi-player defense is Uzzah, Malchus, Emperor Vitellius, Sabbath Breaker, and Amelkites' Slave. Also, it's multi-player, everything can get eaten alive by TGT.
Caleb, just play speed, it's going to work this year just as it worked last year. Or you could play a heavy blue/white CTB, TGT deck with all of the draw-3's. That's what I currently play with the defense I listed above, and it works pretty well.

don't play speed

don't play speed
Speed works better than pretty much everything. Also, you don't have any reason why to back up your statement. All you put was "don't play speed."

That's the one, you guys were paying attention after all. A+ for you guys. :-*
For the record, I don't think speed is necessarily the best multiplayer arch type out there. I think it all comes down to a formula when it comes to success in multiplayer. Can your deck attack every turn and get a lost soul? Do you have a way of stopping your opponent at least 1 time other than using your dominates? Can you get to your Doms quickly? Can you deal with artifacts? Does your deck have flexibility? I think these are a few things you need to be successful in multiplayer. Just my :2cents:

it's easy to back it up
speed is the key to a cheap victory and epic games win or lose certainly beat a cheap victory
-
I totally disagree. I resent that you called speed decks cheap. It took me a year of testing and thinking to come up with Velocity! I've had some of the most epic games ever while playing speed. It doesn't get more epic than last years Nationals type 1 multiplayer last round. I was in first place going into the last game, but I had people closing in on my heels. It was the last round, time had expired and our table was taking it's last turn when I won. Had I not had that one final turn I wouldn't have won Nationals. It was epic, just ask EMJB.
-
xCaLeBx, I would ditch the sites.
The problem is that a huge chunk of multiplayer strategy is being able to control who gets your lost souls. If you put all your LS in sites, and only one player draws an access card, you've basically given that player a private stash of LS that only he will have access to. Now in general this might not be too bad, but if the player had a last name that rhymed with "kitten" or "grisbell" you can see the problems that it might cause. :-*

It was epic. My only question is what was I doing at the last round of Nationals sitting at the same table with you? There was definitely something wrong there.
-

I can't decide if I should take great offense or be deeply honored. Either way I think I'll call down fire from heaven to destroy you.
When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them ?"

Maybe I was talking about someone else. Not everything always has to be about you. :D
-
Yep Gabe, lets call dat fire down from above. Somebody that rhymes wit EMJB is ask'n for it. :-* Why shouldn't you have been at the last table?
-
Yep Gabe, lets call dat fire down from above.
You and Gabe have earned the title Boanerges. I should have used my Falling Away on you at Nats when I had the chance.
Why shouldn't you have been at the last table?
You were playing to repeat as National Champion. I can't believe they couldn't find you a stronger opponent.
Raven, just to reiterate, the last round of T1-MP at Nats last year was truly epic. I hope the West Coasters who have never had a chance to attend Nats have even half as much fun this year as I had at Columbus and KC.
-

You were just being smart, I was in last place for most of the time anyway at the last table.
I can't believe they couldn't find you a stronger opponent.
Bull, I don't meet many cerebral players like yourself.
