T-1 A Side Battle Deck

This deck and walk through was sent to me by Ben S. I got his permission to post it, I thought you guys might enjoy a really good unconventional deck.

I finished the first version of the side battle deck. I kept it at 50 cards, in hope of being able to do everything quickly.

LOST SOULS:
N.T. Only
Female Only
2-Line
FRP
Lost Soul -Hero Set Aside
Revealer
Shuffler

DOMINANTS:
SoG
NJ
AotL
CM
Burial
FA
DoN

FORTS, ARTS, SITES:
Storehouse
Gifts of the Magi
Holy of Holies
Unholy Writ
Dragon Raid
Goshen

HEROES:
Tribal Elder
Jacob
Benjamin
Ehud
Hur
Ethiopian Treasure
King David

GOOD ENHANCEMENTS:
Cup of Wrath
Stillness
Book of Hozai
Book of Jashar
AOC (promo)
Reach of Desperation
Coat of Many Colors

PALE GREEN:
Hophni, son of Eli
Phinehas, son of Eli
Confusion
Death of Unrighteous

GREY:
Momentum Change

BLACK:
Alexander
Lot's Wife
Sadducee
Sadducee
Sadducee
Wrath of Satan
High Priest's Plot
Just a Hireling
Pride of Simon

MULTI-COLOR:
Lurking
Love of Money

The defense is pretty spread out, but since it's 50 cards and I'll be drawing a good bit with the blue draw-3, copy, then stillness and play again. Along with Hur+Gifts. By the time I play cup of wrath, I should be able to discard a good card from their hand, wrath, love of money, confusion, momentum change, then death of unrighteous and I can do it all again.

Since I will be playing wrath multiple times, goshen is there to protect my purple heroes until my opponent decks out. Then I attack with ET and play AOC, and then AotL kills another. Holy Grail would be nice to add, but I don't know what to take out.

Hope ya like,
-Ben

The deck sounds very contingent on a couple cards. Against a deck- or hand-discard deck, if it hits one of several cards it sounds like you're hosed. It's at least not my style.

Just because you have a side battle card doesn't mean this is a side battle deck. I understand that there is a deep strategy but that will only work 20-50% of the time.

Still this deck is really good, maybe I'll post mine once it's a little more developed.

Go to 56. You have enough drawing that it won't matter, and then you can add Grail and four battle-winners/stoppers in case your main strategy fails.

I'm playing around with a 63 version. The defense is a little more less reliant on so many cards, and can do more in side battles. And with 63 cards, the offense is a little heavier on drawing and searching. It's blue/green with Search/Provisions/Sword for the Lord/Visions of Iddo the Seer along with the same blue offense but a little bigger. The defense is a little more towards the grey defense, with Emperor Vitellius/Sabbath Breaker/False Peace/Momentum Change.

It's a little deppendent on a few cards, but if it works, it will eat your opponent alive.

Daniel pulled off killing my Son of God in a game, and in another he killed most of my heroes with Great Image. It's just how you fast you can get the combo.

AHHHH! Too much blue!

Blue text + Grey Background = What did he say? *I'm one of the few people who switched back to Metallistic after the default theme changed*

I don't think I'd like to go up against this deck, at least not with my current deck.
