Hello, all. I haven't played quite as much Redemption over the last few years, but there is a regional tournament coming up in under two weeks that I'm planning on attending. In lieu of using one of my 2-player decks for multiplayer, I just threw this deck together. I'm not sure if it's any good - it's never been played - but I would be open to some advice. Please keep in mind that while I have everything up through 2009, my ownership of newer cards is spotty, basically whatever I've gotten from a couple Booster Drafts and tournament prizes. Also, when giving advice, please don't ask me to fundamentally change the structure of my deck, like making it Samuel-based speed or whatnot. Bringing it down to 50 cards though, certainly acceptable.
I chose this offense because there are several cards that affect multiple players, and the defense because of the variety of two-character bands.

The offense looks fine it seems like the classic green prophets. On defense the kids these days seem to like the Assyrian/Magician splash its a much smaller defense and its faster which is perfect for type 1 multi. There are a couple of examples floating around the boards but for the life of me I cant find a good example with out the search function working lol But I think your a smart enough player to figure out one of these defenses from scratch ;D
EDIT
You should also cut out Altar of Ahaz it still stinks 6 years later haha and you may want to consider putting in Unknown Nation instead of Darkness.
-
I think Hosea ought to go in there.
-
You might want a Live Coal.
-
Magicians: I might do some snooping around to see what's the big hubbub about that, see if it's worth changing anything up.
Altar of Ahaz: I was hoping in Multiplayer it might cause more grief, but I guess there's usually something else I'd like to have in my artifact slot anyways.
Darkness: Since most MP players run a very slim defense, I could help others block using The Darkness. It's not really for Choose the Blocker purposes, although that's a fine side benefit.
Unknown Nation: I certainly love the card. I'll consider putting it in here.
Hosea: Hosea looks awesome! Unfortunately, I don't own a copy.
Live Coal: I do own Live Coal. And it seems Isaiah could recur it. I already have a lot of enhancements, but I'll reconsider that card.

So is Armorbearer there just to steal other player's Heroes? I'd replace him with Hur.
-
Armorbearer can band to King Hezekiah and (rarely) to Moses, plus opponents' Heroes. You're right; Hur would be a better choice.
-
I concur that Hur is a good one to put in there seeing as LS access is one of biggest winners in T1 Multi. Other than that I think the deck looks pretty good but I agree that AoA is pretty "meh" at this point.
